@fmf saidAnd yet as you don’t aim to, you do, you should factor that in! Your intent is not always clear and can be received by another in unintended ways!
I can't remember aiming a "real insult" at you even once in 15 years. So factor that into your contemplation.
@vivify saidMan also thought the earth was flat until 500 years ago or so. To say otherwise was a death sentence in many areas'.
Truth never contradicts, it only seems to when other information is lacking.
Ancient man thought the universe revolved around the earth because objects appeared to move across the sky. The fact of a revolving earth appears to contradict early man's "truth" but only because they lacked information.

@kellyjay saidOh well. So be it. Many times, when conversations have gone south for you, you have resorted to wrongly accusing me of trying to belittle you. All I can say is, if I had to propagate some of the things you propagate and defend them in public, I'd probably feel a bit belittled too from time to time.

@fmf saidAgain it doesn’t matter what your intentions are if you are offending people, you are offending people. It is not wrongly accusing you of being offensive if what you are saying is offensive. If you think that is my problem so be it.

@kellyjay saidNo. I don't think objective facts can contradict each other.
Can one truth contradict another truth, or does that mean one, the other, or neither is actually true? Can truth be contradictive?
However, people's subjective claims about what is "true" can contradict each other and frequently do.
