Are these the basis for your 'belief'? Pretty weak stuff.
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”

Very strong stuff 💪 💪
JOhn writes "In HIm was life, and the life was the light of men." (John 1:4)
In Christ is divine light. You do not know yourself in your own light.
You come into Christ as the divine life and you receive the divine light.
You know where you are.
"In Him . . . in HIm . . . in Him . . . was life, and the lifer was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it." (vs.4,5)
It tries still.
The darkness tries to overcome.
You see FMF here sayhing Jesus is dead. This is certrainly part of the darkness.
But for many centuries though the spriitual darkness has tried and tried to overcome the reality of Jesus Christ it has not been able to. Though much trying and damage hsa taken place, the darkness cannot overcome the light of the truth.
Christ can be entered into. And IN HIM is the life of God for man. And the light of Christ, the light of the world.
“The light of Christ,” writes John Piper, “is the brightness of God shining on the retina of the human soul.” Life can be wonderful on earth, but not fully complete without Jesus. We are all created to crave the Creator, our Father, and only through a relationship with our Savior Jesus can the dark parts of our hearts brighten. “When I admit I am not enough, I’m freed to run and cling to the God who is.” -Aimee Joseph

@fmf saidI am not mischaracterizing it.
No. You are mischaracterizing it. And to repeatedly put “standing strong" in quotation marks is deceitful.
And for you to claim I (or anyone) is deceitful is psychological projection to the max.
Why you’re suddenly embarrassed about “standing strong” in your atheism is beyond me and for you to explain - not me.
