IN HIM
means
ABIDE IN HIM
Not In HIM with your mouth
WIth our mouth we can tell the Lord that we LOVE HIm.
And love works along with faith to have Him avail and be effective in us.
Galatian 6:5-6 says " . . . faith avails, operating through love.
Lots of things do not avail the Christian at all.
FAITH avails.
FAITH is effective.
FAITH receives Christ to make His home more and more in the heart of
men.
"That Christ may make His home in your hearts through FAITH . . . " (Eph. 3:17)
And faith works with love to make enjoying Christ avail, be effective, be sonsequential, and experiencial.
"For we by the Spirit out of faith eagerly await the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything nor uncircumcision, but faith avails, operating through love." (Gal. 5:5,6)
So it is excellent to tell the Lord with your mouth that you love Him.
IN HIM means to keep the commandments
Otherwise you are not IN HIM.
You are in your church.
You're still blind because the church is the body of Christ.
And I didn't say being in Him is not keeping His commands nor did I say it is disobeying them.
But "faith operates through love" and that AVAILS.

The Pharisees could show plenty of verses.
They had no love for the Lord Jesus and no faith.
We who are Christians should love the Lord in the Spirit eagerly awaiting the growing and arising more and more of the hope of righteousness in our living.
"For we by the Spirit out of faith eagerly await the hope of righteousness." (v.5)
And this faith avails, operating through LOVE.
So shame on you for teaching Christians they should not tell the Lord often that
they love Him.

Here is a verse that I feel is definitely about the heart towards Jesus being hot - fervent, or cold, unloving and indifferent.
This is not intended to show anything except a hot or cold heart toward Jesus IS in the Bible.
You are not often reliable when proclaiming something is not in the Bible.

Feeling is important in the deepest part of man.
This is about feeling -
"For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace." (Rom. 8:6)
That is about a feeling - the feeling of "life and peace".
FMF gives you the nod and doesn't hound you as much because you both have a dead human spirit. Your both birds of a feather and both need your human spirits quickened.
You are now of kindred spirit - a dead spirit which needs to be "born anew".
Both of you need regeneration and being born again.

What are the outward signs of having a "dead human spirit"? What evidence is there that I have a "dead human spirit" from my writing on this forum?
One evidence is something Paul called "always learning but never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth."
I think that means one accumulates more and more and more and more information. But God never becomes real to them.
