Stop jumping around like a grasshopper in a hen house.
FIRST show me that the One who says He is the First and the Last in Revelation 1:8 is not the One who appeared to John as "the Son of Man".

LOL !!! LOL !!! YOU , a Jehovah's Witness, are going to hand me over to Satan, Apostle style, for the destruction of the flesh that my spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus ??
I have heard just about everything now.
Jesus loves you Robbie. But I think you need to graduate and take your teaching over to a place like Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry.
They have discussion forums there at CARM
I would like to see how you would do over there. www.carm.org.

So to you, Jesus was only human born of two humans like the rest of us.
How in the heck could his death on the cross and his blood as a human

The RcV renders John 8:58,59 -
"Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I am.
So they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple."
You may take your disagreement about the Greek translation to Dr. Robichaux directly and let us see if he engages you in a friendly exchange on that translation of the Greek Nestle New Testament text.
You might get him to take the time to comment - affirm@lsm.org
Perhaps he would respond to your translation objection. I will not here and now do so. And I am not an expert on reading and writing NT Greek. Neither are you.

- be the Son of God without being God the Father.
- be in the Creation with God his Father and still be Jesus Christ the Son of God
- be before Abraham without being God.
- be 'one with God' without being God. Christ was one with his disciples as well but still separate and distinct.
God and Christ are two separate and distinct entities.

When some one tells me they are ONE president or ONE governer or ONE teacher, common sense tells me their ONE person.
When the Bible says God is ONE God, common sense tells me he is ONE god. If he were not ONE god but three gods in one, this would have been a great time to say that and explain that to us humans as that is not a thing we can concieve and it goes against 100% of the rest of the Bible.
It would seem that as much as this trinity has caused controvercy for hundreds of years and has caused so many divisions in the Christian faith and even now to this day, it would have also caused problems back when Jesus was here on earth and just after he left.
But....... it didn't. Not one mention of it anywhere in the Bible. And why is that? It's because there were no issues at all as they never believed it as it didn't exist at all and never even thought about it or questioned such an idea.
The knew exactly who God was, knew exactly who Jesus was and knew exactly what the holy spirit was. That's why the word trinity or even a thought of it was never mentioned by any of the early Christians which you have never to this day produced by even just one scripture.
But personally after all the evidence that we've all posted and now knowing that you don't read most of it which is from very well documented sourses, I see no more need in wasting my time talking to you about the trinity.
You've chosen to ignor the truths and facts, so be it. Stay blind and stay out of God's favor because he will not accept a paganistic teaching ever in our worship to him.
So now I'll be waiting for your very expected childish responce that your too old to be making............ Go ahead I'm waiting.

So because if this the Christian should take a pair of scissors and cut Isaiah 9:6 out of his Bible ?
So because of this the Christian should erase from her Bible John 1:1,14 ?
So we should TWIST the passages which speak not of what CAN be but of what IS ?
- be before Abraham without being God.
So we should cut and slice our Bible to conform to what RajK999 says CAN be ?
How about I just leave my Bible to faithfully record not what you say CAN be but what IS ?
John 1:1,14; John 20:28
So you take your pen and scratch out things to make your Bible say what you want it to show what Jesus CAN be.
I'll leave mine alone as it is, to faithfully record what Jesus IS.
- be 'one with God' without being God. Christ was one with his disciples as well but still separate and distinct.
I'll leave my New Testament in tact to faithfully record that the church is the Body of Christ.
While you SEPARATE Jesus from the Body of Christ I will leave (2 Cor. 1:21) as it IS - the New Testament records concerning His Body - we are " FIRMLY ATTACHED " to the Anointed One by God .
So you labor for a Lord Jesus Who is clearly separated from His believers and I will faithfully preach - "He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit" (1 Cor. 6:17)

English Standard Version (ESV)
6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon[a] his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
I see nothing in this scripture that says he is Almighty God.
Yes the Kingdom is being put upon his shoulders. Who gave him that right and honor? It is given to him by his FATHER. His Father is Jehovah who is the creator and God of all things.
Yes he is the Wonderful counselor and is also called the Word or the word of Jehovah his Father. So he now has become our conselor as he was not before he came to earth.
And yes Jesus can be called a father to us in respect of the headship his Father Jehovah has given to him. Jehovah tells us to listen to his son because of the position his Father Jehovah is granting him and we now answer to Jesus in a way we did not before he earned this position.
Jesus is now called Everlasting father because before he assended back to heaven he did not have immortality. He could have been destroyed like all the other angels still can be and will be done to the demons,
Jesus proved faithful to his Father Jehovah and hence was given immortality by Jehovah. If Jesus were God himself he would have already been immortal.

Chit chat one liners I will not expend a lot of time and energy on if that's the mode you want to shift into.
