Ok, then GOD hardened the pharaoah's heart, whatever that means. Literally, your heart can no longer pump, being turned into a hard cyst. It could mean emotionally.

But why would this deity harden the Pharoah's heart but not dictators that came later like Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Hitler, and the Turks who did the Armenian holocaust? Your god is only part time in that aspect? It doesn't care that the later holocausts were against Jews and Christians? By the tens of millions? No big deal to this god but the PHAROAH really TICKED him off?

Why can't you see a problem with that plot line?

Everyone will pay for the choices they have made. It seems you have a problem with God being in charge. And I am fully aware that you may still feel pain and anger and have so many questions over a loved one you may have lost. But God knows best and can use any incident to accomplish something good even if we can't see it from where we are at.

God being in charge allows us to walk out our lives as we see fit. This means we choose who to follow, and how we act. The evil we do to ourselves is on us. Repentance towards God would have us treating each other as we want to be treated.

Because we can be very evil simply shows what we are capable of.

All well and good but why would your god intervene with the Pharoah but not a situation, several situations, involving a thousand times as many people? That tells me it cherry picks what it wants to help with as far as humans are concerned. Or theory #2, the whole tale was BS in the first place. I assume you coudn't accept that. which means you would be cherry picking the bible yourself, right?

I'm not sure, but there are definitely those who do not have a choice.

Where in the Bible does it say we have free will?

He wanted to prove a point to a people He was going to use to bring Christ into the world.

14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh's heart is hardened; he refuses to let the people go.

As you pointed out, when we refuse God we harden our hearts. He was digging in not
wanting to do what God was telling him.

It is throughout scripture where God gives us choices, God wouldn't have to tell anyone to
obey and not sin if we didn't have the ability to do both. If God says this is the way walk
ye in it, why do that if we didn't have choice?

You have no real basis for your beliefs. They are rooted in what seems right to you. It allows you to claim anything without having to support it with scripture.

You need to start worshipping God, instead of the Bible.

You do know how ironic that is, yes?
