@divegeester saidthis text, as well as many other spiritual, religious, and philosophical texts sound (to my experienced ear) as if written under the influence of datura, or perhaps peyote...
Reposting for all you brave hell-fire Christians, as per KellyJay’s request:
Here’s a passage for all you hellfire and burning believers to have a look and and tell me this; which bits are literal and which are metaphors and symbolisms?
From Revelation 19
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and Tru ...[text shortened]... nd the burning ... am I right?
What a desperately sad doctrine of death it is that you cling to.
some hallucinations can seem extremely real...
as to whether or not the text is describing a literal or a metaphorical experience, i was not there,
and so i do not know...
@karoly-aczel saidThan on balance I would say C3 is being honest, and you sound well, I cannot come up with a word that isn’t very insulting.
I'm sure about what I do know because I've lived it.
I'm an authority to myself.
I cant make anyone listen to me and I would be wary of anyone who did without being EXTREMELY circumspect.
@kellyjay saidspit it out man?

Calling me dishonest?
You shroud yourself in mediocrity and 'whateverness' .
If you disagree , then disagree. Make a point.
Being wishy washy doesn't serve anyone well, especially yourself. Grow a pair

@divegeester saidDoes it say?
In Revelation 19 in the OP you claim that there are literal robes dipped in literal blood, somewhere... who’s literal blood is this?

2. How can you tell when a passage is not meant to be taken literally?
3. What do you believe the wrath of God refers to?
@karoly-aczel saidNope I said C3 response was an honest answer as he described himself. You gave one about yourself I thought showed a touch self importance. Did not suggest dishonesty that word was not my intention at all. I didn’t even want to say anything till you demanded I did.
what???
Simple question: you calling me 'dishonest' ?

@chaney3 saidStart a thread on it.
Your OP is not interesting.
What's interesting is that you've decided hell doesn't exist, despite the bible saying it does.
Why you feel that way is what's interesting. You have decided that you'll accept the parts of the bible that suit your own beliefs, and will discard the rest.

Sculpture?
"...am I right?"
No.
That’s right, no you wouldn’t 😉
