I'm just not waisting my time showing you the scriptures because it wouldn't do any good. Your not looking for the truth because you would see it if you were. My gosh..they don't even use or even know God's name. How sad...

I feel sorry for all those poor JW's that couldn't be fed at mainline churches. It is a shame, I agree, when churches don't bother to teach the bible. Maybe if they did, fewer would fall pray to the heretical teachings of Arius.

Wow...where does that logic come from?
Just answer this one question. Jehovah (the name we can't pronounce)is a jealous God and says I will have no other Gods before me. Why then is it that every knee is going to bow and confess that Jesus is Lord? I would that you see the Majesty of Jesus!
You under estimate Christians. Not all are hypocrites. Also until the Spirit illuminates the words it's just academics anyway. Knowing Christ is most important.

hypocritesOriginally posted by menace71I totally agree that not all Christains are hypocrites, not by any means and probably the vast majority are very honest in what they believe and that God does read their hearts. Only he will decide on all our future live's.

But he is very much to the point that he wants to be worshiped with truth. John 4:24. If that wasn't the case that and many other scriptures would not say what they do. Again the scripture at Matt 7:14 has to be taken seriously.
Originally posted by galveston75Jesus Christ, the second person of the Godhead, the eternal Son of God, Who created all things in co-operation with His Father, and the Holy Spirit, is fully divine. He took upon Himself man's fallen nature from the seed of Abraham; He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary therefore fully human, yet never sinned at any time, and is the only Saviour from sin. He lived and experienced temptation as any other human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place (ending the handwriting of ordinances and feasts which were shadows of this grand event), was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. All judgment has been given unto Him. Man's salvation is by grace through faith in Him and He will return a second time in glory for the final deliverance of His people. Jesus is known by many names in Scripture, not one of which is to be used exclusively when addressing the Saviour who reads the intentions of the heart. (Ex. 3:14; 1 Chr. 28:9; Ps. 44:21; Matt. 28:18,19; John 1:1-3, 14; 3:16; 5:22; 8:58; 10:30; 14:1-3; Micah 5:2; Matt. 1:21-23; 2:5, 6; 12:34-37; Luke 1:35; Acts 4:10-12; Col. 1:15-19; 2:14; 1 John 5:11,12; Eph. 1:9-15; 2:4-8; Rom. 3:23-26; 5:17; 6:23; 8:27; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 1; 2; 4:14,15; 7:25; 8:1-3; 9:28; 11:3; 1 Peter 2:21; Rev. 21; 22:20)

Originally posted by duecerStill going in circles but I'll try again. If they are all the same person, why does the Bible use the terms Father, Son, and Holy Ghost as some say? Why not keep it simple and say God has three personalities or parts or whatever you think their called? God says he's 1 God at Duet 6:4 but you trinity guys say he's 3 in 1. If he has multiple persons or whatever in, him why didn't he say that at Duet 6:4?
who created all things in co-operstion with the Father and the Holy Spirit, its all one sentance. The trinity, makes perfect sense to me.
