The word trinity is not in the bible is partially why they believe that. They site somewhere that it was a pagan/Babylonian doctrine introduced into the early church. How do you explain the trinity? They don't accept that Christ was the God man and they don't accept that the spirit is also God. You can go to their site http://www.watchtower.org and find some of these things out. They seem to be militant against Christians particularly Catholics. I have my issues with Catholic doctrines but I recognize that Catholics run the gambit from being ultra liberal to very conservative. There are Christians among Catholics. It's the same among Protestant Churches. They don't believe in blood transfusions they quote the old testament for this. Why sure blood can be contaminated but it has nothing to do with eating blood. It just goes on & on.

Most Jehovah's Witnesses have come from other religions as did my parents. They were adults when this happened so I can speak with all honesty that they said they were never taught even the basic truths in the Bible from their previous church until they began their personal studies with the Witnesss. They are not blind or ignorant fools by any means and were not tricked into this religion as none of the others have been either and could have rejected it at anytime in the 40+ years they have been a Witness.

Again I apologize if I've offended anyone here.

I just think it is the epitome of arrogance to believe the JW's have the only true understanding of the scriptures. All other groups are apostate? All?
Manny
And an apostate is one that has abandoned or rebelled against doing his worship of God.
