Explain this from your quote Daniel. Why the word "son"?
I'm sorry, I forgot when or why or what context I posted it but that's what The Trinity is The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. You Believe in The Trinity right?

Daniel no he does not believe in the trinity. JW's believe it's a pagan belief.

The word trinity is not in the bible is partially why they believe that. They site somewhere that it was a pagan/Babylonian doctrine introduced into the early church. How do you explain the trinity? They don't accept that Christ was the God man and they don't accept that the spirit is also God. You can go to their site http://www.watchtower.org and find some of these things out. They seem to be militant against Christians particularly Catholics. I have my issues with Catholic doctrines but I recognize that Catholics run the gambit from being ultra liberal to very conservative. There are Christians among Catholics. It's the same among Protestant Churches. They don't believe in blood transfusions they quote the old testament for this. Why sure blood can be contaminated but it has nothing to do with eating blood. It just goes on & on.

Please forgive me if I've seemed militant against the Cathoilics. I am not and will never be. I just personally care about the truth in the Bible and just get sad when I know others can't or refuse to at least try to see it. Most Jehovah's Witnesses have come from other religions as did my parents. They were adults when this happened so I can speak with all honesty that they said they were never taught even the basic truths in the Bible from their previous church until they began their personal studies with the Witnesss. They are not blind or ignorant fools by any means and were not tricked into this religion as none of the others have been either and could have rejected it at anytime in the 40+ years they have been a Witness.
Again I apologize if I've offended anyone here.

my father is a catholic and probably one of the most well read men i know, yet he knows practically nothing about scripture. his own family were very strong Catholics and because he married a protestant they boycotted his wedding. it has embittered him against religion ever since, can we blame him, no i don't think so, considering the record of the catholic church itself, its propensity for perpetuating ignorance and for spilling blood of which, unlike you my friend, i am not remorseful of exposing.

I just think it is the epitome of arrogance to believe the JW's have the only true understanding of the scriptures. All other groups are apostate? All?

I've never said that ever. Not only is that arrogant for any Witness to ever say or believe that, but it would make us judges and we do not judge anyone. Only God does that.
And an apostate is one that has abandoned or rebelled against doing his worship of God.
