You have evidence of this? First person writing by someone with a birth certificate stamped by a notary public perhaps who is a real verifiable person?

Originally posted by NyxieYou are right about the bible in my opinion, as I am sure what No1 claims probably happened, but the bible does not say that it did. The bible is probably full of enough falicies without adding to them.

Deuteronomy 21:10-14 "When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the Lord thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her."
I think this is the whole quote, and it shows that sex is expected of the female slave. I think forced marraige is a polite way of refferring to sexual slavery. I also find offensive that the capturing parties could deprive the female slave of her virginity and then just throw her out if she was'nt good in bed.

The act of taking small girls is not something that is left in the far distant past. It still happens.

On a different note, you cannot excuse one wrong because another has been commited. This is a circular path. I'll give you an example. The bible lists the ten commandments as being equal. If you were to steal a goat from me and I were to kill you, would either of us have sinned more?

I defy anyone to show me another "civilization" which conducted their campaigns in a more brutal manner.

Numbers 31: 1-19 - How the Israelites acted in war; they exterminated the entire population of their enemies except the virgin girls.
The Israelites weren't exterminated by the Babylonians, the Assyrians, the Persians or the Romans.
Claim proven.
