I believe Christians are the scum of the earth.
Just an idea that popped into my head.
I hope you don't feel insulted.

Also insulting is your persistence in insisting that I have refused an offer that I am not aware was ever made to me - despite this being explained to you many many times.
Originally posted by twhiteheadMy statement regarding your phrase "scum of the earth" was inclusive of every member of the human race past, present and future which includes you and me. If your usage applied to more than "Christians" as you stated then we agree. I'm not insulted in the least because I'm a realist about my own sin nature. Whether you've accepted or refused God's offer is known only to you and Him.

Just off the top of my head .. more later.

However, if it were a poster that I generally respect calling me a 'moron', that would sting a bit.
The stuff in your 10] - I have heard so many times that it hardly registers in my head. When I see that stuff, I usually look to the next post for something that might be interesting, instead. 🙂

For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23 KJV)
What Paul says here is basically when in Rome do as the Romans. Likewise If you are among atheists what does it matter if you agree with some of what they believe in order to gain them or win them over on important issues. Arguing about creation v evolution is one of most useless topics that the Christian can argue about in my opinion.

At least you had the honesty and candor to express it publically.
