@suzianne saidSo why do you choose to worship s God that ordered homosexuals executed? Jesus called this God the only one that is good.
Here's a hint for you: despite what you would like, we're not living in the first century anymore.
You need to take your hate and be honest with yourself and choose a religion without all of this evil baggage.
@eladar saidUmmm, when was this?

Oh, wait, do you mean in the Mosaic Law, as given in the Pentateuch?
As you know, or as you should know, this doesn't apply to gentiles or Christians. And, as you know, or as you should know, this was "God's Law" as written by Moses.

@medullah saidSo you are saying that Paul's instruction to Christian women on properly abandoning their Christian husbands is not a double standard?
I've said before "evidently" , that you come on here looking for trouble.
You've launched into a subject that "evidently" you don't comprehend and hope to throw mud (again) at bible teachings.
There is "evidently" no double stand if you read it carefully and stop grasping a straws in which to try and cause mischief.
@suzianne saidI worship the God that rejects homosexuality and ordered the people of Israel to execute homosexuals.
Okay, I'm with you so far. Care to match it up with what you said previously?
Who do you worship?
People living in sin, including homosexuals, are on the road to destruction. After we die, Jesus will say to those people get away from me you evil doers.
This is what the Bible says, you need to find a religion not tied to such an evil book as the Bible.

@kingdavid403 saidWell, there is this:
I think that you may be taking some things out of context that Paul wrote. Please share some scriptures from Paul that bother you; I would love to learn, and share my thoughts. That is only if you are comfortable doing so. I greatly understand if you do not want to here; and, we both know why.
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." -- 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, KJV
And this:
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve." -- 1 Timothy 2:9-13, KJV
And how about this:
"But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man." -- 1 Corinthians 11:5-9, KJV
As an aside, I find it somewhat alarming that the Adam and Eve story was created in order to justify the subjugation of women, but that's another topic.

@eladar saidDo you understand the two great commandments, on which hang all of the law?

Apparently, you want homosexuals to die. You celebrate a God whom you say wants to see homosexuals executed. If given a choice, you'd probably enjoy doing the deed yourself. How does this square with the two great commandments? Do you think that homosexuals are the people Jesus was talking about in Matthew 7:23?

If God did understand them, he would not have ordered homosexuals executed. Agreed?
