Lovecraft might have missed a beat there.
These half-cocked little blurts by you are usually meaningless.

On many occasions, kindly waffling is much more preferable than critical analysis.
You have nothing of substance to say.
I’m not surprised you never made it as a writer.

It's a saying.

"Don't pee on my back and tell me it's raining."

Some people say "in my ear" or "down my leg".

Another "objective fact", KellyJay?

When the writer of Proverbs 14:12 used the word "death", was he actually referring to people being tortured in burning flames for eternity... "death" in THAT sense?

No, not as such. It's a kind of rough and ready British or Australian thing to say. So, I suppose, British or Australian Muslims might use the expression sometimes.

I've no idea who he is. And I can't be bothered to look it up. Anyway, now you know what "Don't pee on my back and tell me it's raining" means.

I am using the word "evil" as sonship and KellyJay use it in this context.
So, is your Thread title and statements in your original post directed towards them? and maybe a few others? Or, is it directed at all people who claim Jesus as there Lord?

On a side note, what percentage of people do you think have never done anything evil in their lives? (please include yourself if you wish).
I also understand that many people claim things are evil that are not. They use the word evil as a mind control method to have control over the masses. (Example: Salem Witch Trials 1692; several hung and burned at the stake) etc etc etc....
Please explain your thread and it's meaning a little bit?

What does my answer to that question matter? And what bearing does your belief in divine law and divine reward and divine punishment have on "percentage of people [who may have ever or] never done anything evil in their lives"?

The reason I said "I am using the word "evil" as sonship and KellyJay use it in this context" is because they define "evil" as ANYTHING that transgresses "God's law".

Meanwhile, I define "evil" - which I think is best used just as an adjective - as egregious immorality (as already defined in numerous previous discussions, involving doing harm, deceiving and coercing) and gratuitous, sociopathic action that is gravely detrimental and/or damaging to others, and which stems from an abject lack or even absence of empathy and compassion.

The distinction is important.

Your statement insinuates, that WE do not have a battle against good and "evil" in our lives and choices. It's your Thread, explain it somewhat please?

None.

No, it doesn't. It's just you thinking that.
