I've been hearing a lot about abuses in this forum lately.
It's a debate forum for crying out loud!
If every abuse was reported we'd all be banned. If you don't like it, or can't take it, then leave, or don't debate with the one you don't like.
But quit crying and running to your mama. Stand up like an adult. Or leave.

And we who are here to debate aren't here to take insults.
Those who are here and think it's a competion of insulting, and he who wins has the Truth in his hands. Not the case. Everyone insulting another has immediately lost the debate.
The interesting debates are between two grown ups. Because they don't have to insult eachother.

I agree for the most part with you, I am just busting your chops for fun. But a bit of fire makes the debate more colourful, and less bland...😛

I'm in the middle on this. if someone poses and idea or concept they need to understand that it will be challenged. Is that harassment? No. Some are quick to think that however. I can vehemently disagree with someone yet keep it as civil as I can. The flip side of it is people get very charged up on the subjects.
Overall I agree though with OP

But you're right about one thing. When someone resorts to insults they automatically lose the debate.
It wouldn't hurt for some folks around here to take a class in logic though. It's been so long. What are there? Five fallacies?
