@divegeester saidNot Jesus' truth.
Surely this is a universal truth?
The 'world' has set its own truths, and people blindly accept those truths.
Doesn't mean they're right.
@chaney3 saidWhat do you know about anyone's salvation?
Suzianne may mean well in what she said, but she's a Christian, and that means she believes Jesus is the only way to the Father, and to Heaven.
She can recommend to others to 'find their own way', but deep down she knows it's only for their earthly life, then likely straight to hell.
She ought to be spreading the 'good news' if she cared about others' salvation.
@divegeester saidIncorrect.
It is biggdoggproblem’s OP not suzianne’s.
The entire OP is a quote by Suzianne, from a different thread.
@divegeester said*sigh*
No it isn’t. The OP is demonstrably by biggdoggproblem and it contains a quote by Suzianne.
Are you being deliberately stupid again?
26 Books thread, page 4, Suzianne's entire post.
Stupid ass. Get a clue.
@bigdoggproblem saidYou believe this to be a truth statement? May I ask why? Is it because it seems fair to you, or is it the 'truth' seeking answers are nowhere to be found making the search completely void of importance, so the consequence of the search isn't highly crucial in the end?
I read this, from Suzianne, in another thread, and felt like this quote ought to be the official anthem of this forum:
"Not everyone's spirituality is based on Jesus or even God.
Consider these lyrics:
"You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you just might find
Y ...[text shortened]... what we need.
And as hard as this is for you to comprehend, this is not the same for everybody.
@fmf saidIf the only way to Heaven is through Jesus, and God, as Christianity states, then NO, I don't think it's fine.
I am asking you if you think it is fine for a non-Christian to worship Buddha if they so choose. It's you I am asking.
That goes for Buddhaism and atheism, and all the other 'ism's.
Chaney3, if you want to talk ABOUT me, perhaps you could talk TO me.
Here's something for you to chew on. It is the Introduction to a book titled "Messiahs - The Visions and Prophecies for the Second Coming", by John Hogue. This book is an informational look at over 700 prophecies about messiahs from most of the world's religions. Again, it is not ONLY about the Christian Messiah, Jesus, the Christ.
The Call of the Messiahs
Believe in me and I will save you from yourself.
I am the Avatar, the only begotten Son of God.
I am called your dear leader, your Savior.
I am your Führer.
Let me take your burden, let me show you the Way,
Let me lead you to the New Age,
The Thousand-Year Reich,
Nirvana.
I will appear dressed and masked according to your hopes, fears, visions, and divine expectations.
To those who follow me,
I am the Second Coming of Christ, the Maitreya, the Krishna.
I am your Final Prophet.
To those who disbelieve in me,
I am the Antichrist,
The False Prophet.
Few recognize me when I walk the Earth.
They expect the Messiahs of the past to arrive in their future.
They do not clear the dust of their expectations off their ancient prophecies to see me as I am.
They expect me to strengthen their traditions, but I always come as a destroyer of their past.
I come to preach a new law, a new disposition, a new world order.
I am the Apocalypse, the Holocaust, the End of History.
I am your Messiah.
Born of many virgins from many lands and historical times.
I am foretold in the Bible, the Gita, the Torah,
I lurk in The Book of Revelation and hide in the Little Red Book of Mao.
I have been many in the past, and your prophecies from around the world depict me returning by the dozens in the near future.
I am coming back.
In your dreams, in your nightmares, in your Tomorrows.
So, Chaney3, do you have a problem with this?
Talk to me, instead of arguing with others about me.
@suzianne saidYou believe Jesus is just one of many that lead the way to God?

@kellyjay saidIn the end, isn't what I believe important only to me?
You believe Jesus is just one of many that lead the way to God?
No, I believe there is only one way to God, and the name of my Messiah is Jesus.
Other messiahs have other names.
