I have always found it interesting how strongly we support the 'first come first serve' rule and also how we respect continent boundaries and race. For example, here in Africa, there has been a lot of movement of peoples over vast distances. But if you are black and move within Africa, then you are less 'foreign' than if you are white and move from another continent. There is a sort of unwritten rule that if your ancestors come from a given continent then you have some land rights over the whole content and that those rights supersede anyone else whose ancestry is from another continent. So for example if I, with white skin, move to somewhere in Europe, I will be given preference (in many peoples minds) over someone whose ancestry is clearly from India, but has spent several generations in Europe.

Lol I was just trying to out Anorak ATY it wont happen again, I think the substantive point was the hypocracy of some US citizens toward their own history and present day policies.

You go to a class and get proper training and get your gun registered if the law requires such. Also if your a felon you lose the right to own a gun that's very responsible

True but that should not negate good citizens rights to own guns. Felons lose their license to drive for DUI but some of em still get in a car to drive after that. Should we take away cars so that law abiding citizens can't drive or own cars ?

Good reason to own firearms if you live on a farm or ranch. Protect your livestock from predators. Also in places like Alaska you need to shoot and kill your meat because there is not a grocery store around the corner.

or is it only bad when other countries do it?
Aborigines to us Americans are those half naked people that live in Australia.

We still have what we call Indians or Native Americans. They have land that was set aside for them to live on and they still own that land today. However, most of them are a part of our regular society today.

When we got independence from British tyranny we gradually needed to expand and the Indians were not cooperative and began fighting and scalping and massacring our peace loving settlers, our government was forced to take drastic actions.

Which is really not that different from what the communists had to do in Europe. The main difference being that communists are not only peace loving, but they also believe in equality for all and have no problem incorporating those war loving tribes into their society instead of pushing them into reservations or wiping them out with small pox.

The Americans didn't know anything about germ warfare back in those days. Blame the small pox on God if you want; but the Americans didn't have anything to do with that. And the Americans did incorprate the Indians that were willing into there society. But like I said before, many of them were not very cooperative.

are you really trying to justify the taking of american native land with 'we needed to expand' and 'we set aside some land', really???? are you mental???? 'needed' what exactly was the 'need' other than greed?

when china runs out of space and they 'need' some more land, im sure you wont mind when they expand into america, as long as they set a bit of land to one side for you.

"Aborigines to us Americans are those half naked people that live in Australia."

well im sure your not speaking for all americans, im sure lots have decent enough educations to understand what the word means and im sure that the majority are aware that they are no longer half naked and are capable of wearing clothes, just like the rest of the world.

"We still have what we call Indians or Native Americans."

yes i know you have native americans. unlike you, most people in europe show a interest in global history, not just there own. the reason i chose the word aborigine was because american indians were not the only indigenous people to be killed by american settlers.

you really are a myopic edjit.
