They ignore these passages as well.

What do you think of this verse in 1 John 5:18:

18We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Aren't you always quoting some verse in Romans that says "all Men have sinned"? But here it says "no one who is born of God sins"! Which is it?

The Epistles are interpretations by men of Christ's message. As such, they cannot be as meaningful as Christ's own words. The fact that Paul and others claim to be speaking with as much authority as Jesus doesn't prove they are.

So who do you suppose interpreted Christ's message in the gospels?

I don't believe any of the bible contradicts anywhere. Only when you pick and choose what suits you.

You and no1 don't seem to believe demons exist. I guess these verses were mistranslated...

Actually I never said I believed in ANY of the Bible, but I don't call myself a Christian and then reject Christ's words like you and RBHILL do.

Let me clarify a bit. I place the teachings of Christ above everything else. Of all the teachings of Christ I place most importance on what He said about judgement day and getting eternal life. My reason is that Christ said that is what you should do .. ie follow Him.

Do you really think being a Bible scholar and reading the Bible over and over is any virtue and will get you eternal life? You are free to do that if you are so inclined but it is no substitute for doing what Christ says to do in Matt 25. Remember Christ condemn the scholars of His time is the strongest language.

Remember Phillip preached to the eunuch ? In the space of what must have been a couple of hrs at most. Do you think he had a full grasp of the entire Bible ?

As for demons and devils ... thats a whole other story. We can do that on a separate thread later on.

Well they don't, but I know that you don't understand the flash of a person can be in God's presences because of Sin. And you are lost so you do not know more about the Bible then I do, because if you did you would be against me.

So in saying this if God is for me who can be against me? I would say no one.

when you die if you are saved God whats to see Jesus in you. It is Jesus that saves you not yourself.

Once you accept Jesus, God does not look at you sin ????? No wonder there are so many so called Christians who appear religious but inside they are corrupt.
