And I second that.....or should I say third that? Anyhew, I would just like to say "Seasons Greetings" to all of our nonChrisitan freinds out there as well.. Notice I was politically correct enough not to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! so as not to offend any one out there or say something obnoxious like, "CHRIST IS REALLY THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!". As you can see I go out of my way to try and accomodate all faiths or "faiths in a vacuum" as it were.😛Sorry, but as a Christian I have no issue saying "Merry Christmas" and Jesus IS the reason for the season and the holiday. It has nothing to do with political correctness. This holiday is not about winter solstice or Kwanza or Hannukah or any other religious celebration.
It is CHRISTmas and nothing else. So if naming the name of Christ for the holiday offends someone then I am sorry but that is the name and reason of the holiday and I am not ashamed to name it what it is and what it stands for.

days of worshipping the Viking Gods (more specifically Thor). Many
Christians seem to think that the yule is celebrated in honour of Christ's
birth, but I celebrate it in honour of my forefathers being real vikings,
plundering the continent and ravishing women. YEAH!
(That is, they were plundering and ravishing. Not I. I'm too much of a
wimp to do that. 😞 Well, maybe a bit of consensual ravishing is involved.
And I do plunder my own economy. 😀)
But, hey, I'm not the kind to worry about origin, purpose or original
meaning. Celebration is an excuse in itself, so Merry Christmas to you
and all other Christian believers. Enjoy this season as you think is
proper, and may nothing but meaningful days lay ahead of you. 🙂
