No, that was nyxie answering your question and not anything to do with the reincarnationist position.

Reincarnation doesn't involve god (per se), but that doesn't mean that it's necessarily godless. There is more than one faith that believe in reincarnation, I cant say for sure, but I think there are some that believe in a deity.

In the non-christian debate thread metamorphosis was saying something about a larger consciousness. You might want to re-read that for an answer...of sorts.
