You repeatedly branded me as a liar in a recent conversation for saying that I used to be a Christian. So much for your suggestion that you have respect for "different honest heart felt beliefs". Blimey.
It is because you hold opposing views as both being true at the same
time and think nothing of it.
That is different than branding everyone who seems to disagree with you
as negatively as he has not done, but I thought he did! 🙁

You don't think it odd, that you look at those that have different views as
you to be either disingenuous or stupid? You ever feel that you may have
a pride issue? I disagree with quite a few people here, you included, but
I do not think you or they are either disingenuous or stupid! I believe
you and the others just simply have different honest heart f ...[text shortened]... agreed with them were all stupid
and being disingenuous? Can you just agree to disagree?

There's seems to have a been quite a lot of topics recently that I felt the need to contend with. It seems strange that after being here for 6 or 7 years that these topics should come into my view only now. Just coincidence I suppose.

I feel the same way. That's why I exited for a few days.
Don't worry about apologizing to me for anything. I really don't take anything anyone says personally.
It does get crazy inside sometimes though!

We all need to touch the living Spirit of Jesus more, tell Him that we love Him, and abide in Him.

No I don't. I do not "hold opposing views as both being true at the same time". You are misrepresenting my beliefs.
Disconcerting and aggravating, isn't it? As well as insensitive, ignorant and just mean.
Welcome to the atheist M.O. Shoes on the other feet just feel weird, eh?

You have no respect for anyone anyway.

Most of the threads here are important to at least somebody; for me most are (for want of a better word) academic, in that we debate/argue over points if interest of certain posters being disingenuous or just plain stupid. However these recent exchanges have been a bit of an (again for want of a better word) epiphany, or at least a revealing insight into ...[text shortened]... liefs of other Christians on matters that I have taken for grated as being completely different.
A lot of things may be important to you but you never realize it until later in life and you realize that maybe you should have been paying attention a little more closely to the scenery going by.
