I think you have made an idol out of some sense of private ownership of spiritual teaching.
This obsessive treasuring of some kind of copyright infringement may be a reflection of your individualism which isolates you in pride from others. Or it rubs the wrong way your love of showing off that you can be original and play second fiddle to no man.
You've never offered to indicate with whom you meet specifically.
I have indicated where I have gathered with no shame. And I long ago gave up expecting that you would "report" me in to whoever it is you think has had material "stolen" by me and advertised as original.
Tell me, is this scheme to take credit for other's ministry the reason why hundreds of times I have included the link for further examination by the interested - www.ministrybooks.org ?
Anyway, your complaint has no concern for me. Like the thread I put up once - "Who owns the truth anyway?"
@divegeester
Comment on prayer. That's what Ceasar-salad and I were just conversing about.
What works for you?
@sonship saidThat's exactly what the rabbi is saying, so you actually agree with him.
In the Jewish tradition (maybe specifically Hasidic) there is a story of a poor, semi-literate man who feels embarrassed about the kind of prayers he could offer to God. The Rebbe reassures him, "God would be pleased just to hear you recite your ABCs."
I disagree with that rabbi.
Any HONEST opening of the heart to God is accepted.
God knows the meaning of the words behind the presence or absence of eloquence.
@sonship saidStop pretending to be the bringer of spiritual teaching, when in fact it is another person’s teaching which you are copying.

Well for one, a Christian wants others to have a chance to share in a great thing.
And this is a good medium to invite others to think about it.
@sonship saidThis is true. We might not all agree, be it's good to hear the thoughts of somebody else in the faith; it does not harm and provides food for thought. 😉

22.) The Psalmist cried with his mouth to God day and night. The need was so pressing, he opened his whole being to God.
"O Jehovah God of my salvation, I have cried in the day, in the night before you." (Psalm 88:1)
That day may come for one of us. That is the need to get from one moment to the next all day and all night long by speaking out to God.
But there is no need to wait for devastating calamity in your life. Some of the day and some of the night you can open your heart and mouth to the Lord Jesus.
@medullah
I think if I told FMF that the great commission calls for us to go into all the world and announce the Good News, he might think it is only a matter of religious duty.
Actually it is an overflow of joy to allow others to consider the Lord Jesus.
23.) In the same Psalm the crier asks that his prayer would come before God and that He would bow down His ear and hear.
"Let my prayer come before You; bow down You ear to my cry." (Psalm 82:2)
Of course this does not mean that the infinite God does not hear out thoughts in silence. He does thankfully.
24.) The believe should want BOTH the audible words of her mouth AND the meditation of her heart to be acceptable to God.
"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You, O Jehovah, my rock and my Redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)
I have a mouth in my mind -- does that count?
Why would it not count ? We're dealing with God who designed not only your vocal cords but your thinking apparatus as well.
The reason I emphasize the speaking mouth is because the Christian is like a salmon fish swimming against the current. Practically everything in the world is tugging him AWAY from the heavenly Father. All the elements of the world are flowing in the opposite direction to move our being farther away from God.
So because to enjoy God is so often like swimming upstream against the strong current, we have to exercise our whole being. The speaking mouth aids in this.
But for certain, every thought and intention of the hearth unspoken is as clear to God. Nothing in us is hidden.
"And there is no creature that is not manifest before Him, but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we are to give our account." (Hebrews 4:13)
Speaking helps because we are like salmon fish swimming upstream against the current. It is not that God cannot understand unless your mouth is opened.
Besides, in human relationship we also employ speaking. The husbands who thinks he never has to SAY that he loves his wife may find this to not be quite true. She needs to HEAR that you love her. And the husband also needs to commit and hear himself speak out the love in his heart.
