Yes, I am saying casting out devils is a good work, do you think casting out devils is a
work of iniquity, if so when Jesus did it how do you explain that?
Not only that why didn't the guy whose good work list that included, fasting twice a week,
and giving tithes of all he gets, get denied by Jesus? Are those things not good works
too?
There are many reasons why their casting out devils etc were evil
- taking money for the job
- making false prophesies
- fake miracles
Go to any church and you will see what false preachers do .. its all a sham and fake stuff, and it is works of iniquity.
You are supporting evil works with your statements by calling it good.

Can a sinner do a good work?
Can a righteous do a bad work?
Do the righteous only do good works?
Do sinners only do bad works?

miracles are going to be used to justify one's life before God, the day all secrets are going
to be revealed, everyone is giving an account for every idle word? Yes, false preachers
and teachers are real, but they are not limited to churches. On judgment day the only
things anyone is going to have to rely on are that which is real. Yet still, since everyone
has works, we will be judged according to them, but no where does it say works save us.
It does say we our works will be judged, and no one is going to be saved just because
they worked hard enough.
You always put the works of man before the work of Jesus, because it is by God's grace
through faith we are saved, not of works least any of us boast. It is not salvation due to
human effort before God!

Listen KJ it's really simple.
1) "Spirituality 101" the topic is Matthew 7:21-23
2) "Total depravity verse list" the topic is John 14:6
Yet on this thread you posted the following:
"Jesus was talking about good and bad fruit, while
earlier we were speaking about Jesus being the Way to God, the only way to God."
I pointed out to you that " ...[text shortened]... how you arrogantly and pridefully forge on as if they aren't.
"The truth will make you free".
addressing the statement by Jesus that He said He was the Way.
As far as I'm concern you did screw things up when you went away from "Lord, Lord..."
discussion. If you wish to address how I read that verse wrong I suggest you bring
forward how you see it. For me it is clearly no more than what He says, nothing more
and nothing less.

Once again, that was on the "Total depravity verse list" thread.
Read back through this thread. You haven't a clue and you're too prideful and arrogant to check yourself. It's a real habit for you. It's unfortunate.

I do not know all that.
What I do know is that YOU say these people did good works
Jesus said they did evil works
The people claimed to do miracles and prophesies and cast out devils
Nowhere did Jesus ever call that good works
The argument may stand in a court of men, but it is simply not good enough for standing before Christ at Judgement.

LOL yes so instead of telling me and everyone else why how I was not getting that
scripture right you change topics never giving the proper way of looking at things. I think
it is you who struggle with that verse that you can claim I got it wrong, yet are completely
unable or willing to show me the proper way that scripture should be looked at.
I wil ...[text shortened]... not call that unfortunate, there are other words that come to mind none of which are
good ones.
You mean your churches way?
Instead of 'unfortunate' what about ' willfully ignorant' ? or ' usually incoherent ' ?
Either way I think you missed ToO's post back there

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6

No one comes to the Father except by following Jesus ' example? That'd be a good message for the people of the past who had virtually no knowledge of other major world religions.
I dont see this as conflicting
