You just posted in another thread: "Zen has great influence on me, how I understand and how I conduct."

If your philosophy for life is indeed 'take a stand and make your mark' then I don't think you have understood Zen at all. Quite the opposite in fact.

Perhaps he has decided to take a stand against Zen?

Or maybe apathist's back is against the wall of confusion and he realizes he needs to take a stand on something before his reality crumbles, and all hope vanishes away into oblivion.

Just guessing 😉.

I have no doubt I don't understand Zen. I said so.

Stand up for what you believe, I don't know how to boil it down further. Tell me where I misunderstand.

It was more the 'making a mark.' What mark is there to make when:

"Life is a dream, a grand illusion that we perceive through the filter of our personality, our experiences, our ego. This is a great piece of theater in which we do not see all the actors and in which we barely understand the role of those that we see."

You mean he doesn't believe the same things as you do and has a different way of comporting himself from you?

How big will your mark really be if there is an eternity that you didn't recon with?

Is that Spanish? Us Australians are notorious for not knowing many languages. I do speak Hungarian but I've been in Australia since I was 6...

Yes now we enter into the areas of human understanding where words fall short.
Zen masters have said many times that poetry and art can be a more accurate description of reality than some sort of thesis.
Also it depends on where you're at with it.

If one was not understanding of the way of zen masters then one may say they are total idiots. In fact the impression I get is that they were loved and loathed in equal measure.

edit:oops I just realized you were realized you were responding to apathist. My apologies
