Clearly you overate the significance of what you call your extensive study. Your opinion on how important your ;knowledge' in has puffed you up. I notice even the Christians who were interested in what you had to say have now left you on your own.

What Jesus looks for in a follower is not knowledge, neither it is proper bible interpretation, and extensive analysis. Jesus is interested in one thing only and here it is again:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me:
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
(Matthew 25:35-36 KJV)
]

If a Christian does not practice these things, they and their extensive knowledge will be cast out of the Kingdom of God. You preach that these teachings of Christ are not important for eternal life when Jesus clearly said that they were. That alone qualifies you as a false teacher and a goat destined to be cast out.

Many Christians [on this site] are now taking these words of Christ seriously and you are being put in your rightful place in the garbage dump of Christian preachers.

The atheists and Christ deniers love to poison the atmosphere between and among believers. It makes one wonder why they’re here at all.

That is interesting. Thank you for posting that. I’ll have to read those chapters in Revelation bearing that in mind and get back to you. I haven’t read Revelation in a long time.

There is a blessing associated with simply reading the prophecy and reading it aloud. More worshipful contacting God with the mouth, you might say.

"Blessed are those who read and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things written in it, for the time is at hand." (Rev. 1:3 Recovery Version )

See? Just READING it will be a channel of blessing.

And reading it aloud, though it is difficult to understand, is excellent, if you get a chance to do so. And reading it aloud with someone else, even more so.

Notice the number of versions which highlight the aloud reading.

Revelation 1:3 -
English Standard Version
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Christian Standard Bible
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it, because the time is near.

Isn't that good? Old Rajk999 probably wouldn't like this encouragement from the word of God. You know he's always fighting against Christians worshiping God with their mouths.

Look at this version which translates it "reads to others"

Contemporary English Version
God will bless everyone who reads this prophecy to others, and he will bless everyone who hears and obeys it. The time is almost here.

I still remember when not knowing hardly anything about Revelation, how blessed it was to READ it. In a small college town me and two other people sat in part and read just some of Revelation in turns.

We didn't read the whole book. But what a happiness we had in reading aloud Revelation.

Romans1009, I'd like to speak more about just READING the book of Revelation, and if possible reading it ALOUD.

It says those who HEAR are blessed and those who READ and ALOUD are blessed. Don't be surprised if this is opposed by the Rajk999 heretic who hates men to use their mouth to draw near to God.

Look again.

Rev. 1:3a

Holman Christian Standard Bible
The one who reads this is blessed, and those who hear the words of this prophecy...

Blessed for READING, blessed for HEARING, and blessed for KEEPING the things.

NET Bible
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy aloud, and blessed are those who hear and obey the things written in it, because the time is near!

New Heart English Bible
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is near.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
Blessed is the one who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things that are written in it, for the time is near.

To keep and to obey, you first have to READ. And you really get the Keep Worthy words in your heart if you read aloud with a prayerful spirit and a hearts turned towards God.

Amen?

I will not hit over the head someone who I disagree with on this book. That is unless they are really putting down Jesus Christ.

Feel free to share. Feel free to volunteer your own enjoyment.

With Revelation you have to get all the facts down.
It helps to eventually be familiar with all the facts of the book.

But I have put more emphasis, I think, so far on the blessedness of touching God in the READING and READING aloud. AS the divine promise is.

This is not mechanical. But it is God being FAITHFUL.

Darby Bible Translation
Blessed [is] he that reads, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things written in it; for the time [is] near.

Weymouth New Testament
Blessed is he who reads and blessed are those who listen to the words of this prophecy and lay to heart what is written in it; for the time for its fulfillment is now close at hand.

Some of them are seeking for the truth.
I said "some".

But it becomes a personality problem between posters.

Anyway, this morning I can't get over this matter of prior to mastering the interpretation, there is a blessing upon READING Revelation - HEARING Revelation - and KEEPING the things within it.

I am really impressed with this.

Recovery Version

"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things written in it, for the time is near."

Go through chapter 19 and get under your belt all the facts as you read. Then it will be easier to know what certain matters make sense to be interpreted certain ways.

This is a benefit in getting into this hard book.
That is becoming familiar with as many of the facts of the book as you can.

I do not encourage mastering facts though, and missing the BLESSEDNESS of tasting the Holy Spirit in the reading and hearing of the word of God here.

Why should that bother me if it is true?
As long as they are following the Lord Jesus in their spirit, I'm happy.

I'm just a Christian brother among other Christian brothers and sisters.

You hate for Christians to worship God with their mouths. This is supremely STUPID of you. Not for a moment does it impress me that by keeping the mouth shut you automatically will give more alms or keep God's commandments more ipso facto.
Didn't you read David asking of God to open his lips to show forth God's praise ?

" O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth will declare Your praise." (Psalm 51:15)

Go fight against that.

Go argue with David that he should not ask God to open his lips or he should not declare God's praise with his MOUTH.

Do you not have a "personality problem" with the poster Romans1009?

You yourself were muttering to Romans1009 about a "personality problem" on this thread a couple of posts back. I am responding to that. So, do you not have a "personality problem" with the poster Romans1009? Does your religion give you and Romans1009, for example, any advice about "personality"? Does Revelation give you and him [and other Christian posters] any advice about "personality"?

Why are you constantly trying to pit people against each other and create conflict in our community?

Sick!
