@suzianne saidWhen writing in a public forum where there are people from all countries, please try to resist the temptation to believe that everyone in the world know your stupid childish colloquial expressions. They mean nothing to the rest of the world. In fact most of them just demonstrate your poor educational standing.
No wonder you're always such a Debbie Downer.
Better get those asbestos long johns ready.
Also try to contribute to a discussion with meaningful, on topic posts, instead of displaying your ignorance.

@rajk999 saidOh look, the guy who can't be bothered to look up words in a dictionary wants to lecture others on their educational standing. 🤣

@kellyjay saidThe Gospel is God's redemption story for mankind, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for us to be redeemed.
I wrote this elsewhere, and thought I’d share it here too.
We have a lot of debates here, arguments, discussions, name-calling, fear-mongering, friendships occurring, uplifting words of encouragement, empathic response to others’ pain, total indifference to others, hate, and on and on. We discuss truth, lies, information, and disinformation and what those are when we appl ...[text shortened]... one thing alone that has nothing to do with us; we can rely on God’s love for us, for he is worthy.
~4 minutes a good sermon on the topic.

@kellyjay saidIs that one of your church buddies? He sounds like just another false teacher promoting a gospel contrary to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You would think that in 4 minutes he could have mentioned the true Gospel of Christ.

@rajk999 saidWhich is what according to you?

@rajk999 saidIt was a point-blank question, according to you, what is it? I've been saying what the gospel is; you have been criticizing me as you disagreed with what I said. So speak up your turn to share, enlighten me, how am I wrong? Show me the error of my ways; share the good news, please.
You do not know what Jesus preached? Or is it that you think Jesus did not preach the gospel.
@rajk999 saidOh, sorry you're ignorant. Maybe I should do something you'll understand, like pointing at a picture and grunting?

@rajk999 saidDoes it really make you feel better to claim to everyone that only you know the 'true way'?
If you need me to tell you that Jesus said to keep and follow His commandments, abide by His teachings and listen to His words and His Gospel then you are a lost church Christian like so many others. You are a drowning man grasping as straws. You believe in your church but sadly for you your church cannot save you.
I don't remember Jesus saying anything about running everyone else down and assuming stuff about them. In fact, he had more to say to the opposite.

@kellyjay saidDoes the 4 minutes include a précis on what happens to those who decide that they cannot believe?

@rajk999 saidDo you believe that Jesus rose from the dead?

@kellyjay saidNot quite. I said that the gospel you posted in the opening post is not what Jesus preached . YOU IGNORED THAT.

All you have to do is to provide some references where Jesus did in fact preach the version of the gospel you posted OR agree that Jesus preached no such thing.
Dont come and demand I address your question when you do not address mine.

@divegeester saidYes. Why? How is that relevant to the topic.
Do you believe that Jesus rose from the dead?
@rajk999 saidSo you are just a guy; what is it about you that makes you so important that anyone should listen to you? You run others down personally and disparage their words without being able to, or are willing to, put up something you believe in for comparison if you are right about all of this as you seem to think you are, you keep it all hidden, in the dark out of sight. The points I make I can, and I'm willing to back up showing you why I believe what I do; all you do is bluster about without directly saying why. It is not true is not enough if you cannot show what is accurate, and so far, you lack specifics. We can both quote scripture, and I can tell you why Jesus Christ is Lord of my life, why Jesus Christ is my Savior, and what IS the Gospel. I've ignored nothing, and you refuse to engage in any meaningful manner.

So tell me I am telling you the Gospel is the good news that the Kingdom of God is here, Jesus Christ came to redeem sinners so we can be saved, through faith in what Jesus did for us, not by our efforts, that we can because we are saved do the works of God has for us because we are saved, not to become saved. You have other ideas about this according to scripture, share them so that we can compare. Why would you hold something of that magnitude back from people who need to hear as you are at this time?
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Matthew 8:22
And Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 21:31
Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.
In Matthew 26
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.”
Mark 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Simply quoting scripture isn't enough; keeping it all in proper context, making sure you don't twist it to mean something it doesn't say matters. If you only run things down, only say someone is wrong, that is not proving your point; you are not showing why it is wrong through specific quotes and reasons why it is wrong
