A few quotes to raise a smile (hopefully).
“Faith is the surrender of the mind; it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other mammals. It's our need to believe, and ...[text shortened]... That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

Definitely a great quote. I think it ranks up there with Sagan's:
"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"
Hitchens was a great writer who was impressive in how he stood up for what he believed in. I disagreed with a number of things with him, but agreed with plenty. No matter what, the world lost a valuable voice.

But true region with its perfect knowledge was not known by this man.
Islam Christianity Judaism have been propagating false knowledge since their fabrications first appeared in writing.
True religion presented by Vedanta Sutra has nothing to do with them.
True religion is not known by many.......because there are not many honest people who care the slightest about God and the way to God.

of anyone, death honours no one!
you cannot generalize about death like that, just like you it's hard to generalize about all r'ships-even though we can see similarities with other r'ships- it would be foolish to to say that one r'ship is like another, because they are all unique. Heck all people are unique, so when we get 2 unique people together and throw "love" into the mix, it is nigh impossible to determine the outcome of any r'ship.
So too with death. Only the person dying has the unique point of view of dying, of seeing what actually happens when you die. And, as you are no doubt aware, only "God" can judge a mans heart, as much as some may want to try on the forum here (to judge others).
So lets not be too hasty here and make a blanket statement about a subject that will no doubt be very dear to some (who have perhaps lost a loved one, for instance)
