Each post of yours paints a disturbing portrait of 'salvation'.

Sorry, but those verses do not form a basis for the doctrine of our pre-birth existence.
Feel free to post the verses that form the basis for your doctrine of pre-birth non-existence. 🙂

Those who do not know God hate him so he must be found disturbing by you.

Romans 9

0 Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac. 11 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: 12 not by works but by him who calls—she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”[d] 13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”[e]

14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses,

“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”[f]

16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[h] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

For example: But I would have you know, that .. the head of Christ is God.
(1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV)

or Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Matthew 16:16-17 KJV)
So to you the scriptures are vague and meaningless?

That comes as no surprise.

Fact is, the verses I quoted couldn't be simpler and easier to understand for an honest man. God didn't preserve vague and meaningless words. That you should characterize those verses in such a way speaks volumes about your character.

The issue is clear. Jesus is God.

The scriptures that you quote to support your church doctrine, those are vague and meaningless.

The issue is clear ... Jesus never said he is God

So we have so far the following:
- Simon Peter said that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God
- Paul said that the head of Christ is God
- Jesus said that the Father is greater than Him
- God said that this is MY SON.
- John said that those who believe that Jesus is THE SON OF GOD, God dwells in them.

Nowhere does anyone in the Bible say that you have to believe that Jesus is God....
NOWHERE. The only place that is written is in your church handbook.

Romans1009.

They promote a church doctrine which so far cannot be substantiated from the Bible.
I created an entire thread with some verses and passages where Jesus identified as God but stopped adding verses and passages when it was spammed by atheists and Christ deniers.

Maybe I’ll go back to it and keep adding verses.

Funny how you don’t trust the disciples and their associates when they write that Jesus is God but trust the words Jesus spoke - which were written down by those same disciples and associates! 🙄

I don't know unicorns either, but that is not a reason to hate something which is most likely a myth. 🙄🙄🙄

You are the one who finds what the Bible says disturbing.

No. I just think it is entirely manmade. As are all the Abrahamic religions.

So you are backpedalling.

Either you are disturbed or you are not. Or is it that someone believes differently from you that is so disturbing.

People like you do have issues with freedom of thought.

You said this to an atheist, judging them.

Just what, exactly, does, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" mean to you?
