Oh yes. When we call on the name of the Lord Jesus in truth, inwardly the Spirit of Christ will answer us.
God answers us when we call upon Him in reality.
He is so eager to respond by moving within our hearts He will do so even as you turn your heart to Jesus Christ to call.
"And it will be that before they call, I will answer, even while they are speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24)

You are a desperate man, quoting irrelevant nonsense to justify some petty point.
In all your posts those old faithful followers of God did not practice mouth worship
These were followers of Gods commandments,
These were the righteous and perfect in the sight of God.
You need to stop promoting this sick diseased doctrine of mouth worship.

Oh!! So you DO believe in the thousand year millennial reign of Christ then. Right?
Folks, before when trying to explain to Rajk999 about dispensational discipline PRIOR to the age of eternity he seemed to vehemently disagree or have no idea what I was talking about.
Now it appears he may indeed understand that there is a millennial kingdom reign of Christ. And therefore he has to admit that God's dealing with His sons may not be OVER with all of them at the end of the church age.
You are a desperate man, quoting irrelevant nonsense to justify some petty point.
It make no difference that the passage I referred to was in the Old Testament.
Go learn what this means, you phony.
"For as many promises of God there are, in Him [Christ] is the Yes; therefore also through Him is the Amen to God, for glory through us to God. " (2 Cor. 1:20)
In Christ is some amount of ALL of the positive promises of God. In Christ is the "Amen". Of WHATEVER promises of God concerning anything - in Jesus Christ we enjoy at least some amount of fulfillment.
In John 11 Martha blabbed on about the resurrection of the dead coming at the end of time. Jesus pointed to Himself and said - HE Himself WAS the resurrection.
Go prayread this passage why don't you?
"Martha said to Him, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day.
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes into Me, even if he should die, shall live." (John 11:24,25)
Like you, Martha wanted to POSTONE the experience of resurrection until the proper prophetic time. Jesus told her He standing before her was the source of the blessing of resurrection.
So you're pointing out any prophetic characteristic of the Isaiah passage won't forbid lovers of God from calling out to Christ to enjoy Him TODAY. I mean TODAY.

The only thing God promised these people is destruction
Mouth worshipers are NOT IN-CHRIST.
The promises of an inheritance in the Kingdom of God
are for those who follow the commandments of Christ.
These are those who are IN-CHRIST. These are the sheep of Christ.
You and your type who deny the importance of good works
and charitable love are the goats who will be cast into outer darkness.
So go ahead quoting all the parts of the Bible where people call on God or Christ.
Keep on quoting the Bible. Call away.
Use your mouth and ignore the legalistic Pharisaical commandments of Jesus Chrsit
The man/God who you claim to love and worship.
You are nothing but a dangerous lying hypocrite
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,
shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:
depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
(Matthew 7:21-26 KJV)
Your doctrine is made of straw
Your house is built on the sand
You are a goat whose end is destruction.

So now you think preaching is useless?! How does one spread the Gospel if not by preaching and evangelizing? You think preachers who lead people to Christ are displeasing to God?
Why are you trying to prevent people from learning about Jesus Christ and becoming saved?
I see you’re condemning another Christian to hell. Do you ever stop sinning? You know why you can’t stop sinning? Because you haven’t accepted Christ into your heart and received God’s Holy Spirit. You know why you haven’t done that? It’s, once again, your sinful and foolish chest-puffing pride. You want to justify yourself and make yourself righteous (in right standing with God.) I fear you’ll never learn the truth, despite hearing the truth dozens of times.
It’s that sinful pride of yours that’s preventing you from accepting Christ and preventing you from being saved.
Sad!
Get smart!

Where did I say that preaching is useless?
Preaching mouth worship is a sin and a deadly sin at that.
Jesus condemns all those who preach it an practice it.
Jesus said to teach and preach that followers must observe his commandments :
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:..
(Matthew 28:19-20 KJV)
But you wont get it. Goats dont understand the doctrine of Christ
Goats neither believe in, nor do they practice good works.

Therefore, you project onto the pages of this forum every vindictive form of ridicule you can imagine against those you have presumptuously judged condemned for not following your law.
Truth is you hate Jesus for saving people without the works of the law.

He doesn’t think belief in Christ and His Resurrection are necessary for salvation. He blasphemes Christ by saying atheists go to heaven when Christ clearly said in John 14:6 that no one goes to the Father but by Christ. He falsely says salvation by faith alone Christians tell others to not do good works. He mocks people who go to church. He mocks people who read the Bible. His whole philosophy revolves around good works but he refuses to identify a single example of what he considers to be a good work. He says one cannot commit a single sin after becoming a Christ follower and yet he calls himself a sheep and repeatedly sins on here by bearing false witness against his neighbor and condemning people to hell.

Rajk999:
You and your type who deny the importance of good works
Who is the One who has overcome the world?
Jesus Christ.
How are we to overcome the world, the flesh, the sin, temptation, anxiety, backslidding, disobedience, etc. etc,?
How is a man to prevail over these things?
He prevails by realizing that ONE alone has been victorious - Jesus. And he must come to Jesus, be filled with Jesus, abide in Jesus, trust in Jesus, allow Jesus to make His home in their heart (by faith), and "eat" Jesus, and enjoy Jesus, and fellowship constantly - consciously and unconsciously with Jesus.
When the Devil come to the door of our heart, we say, "Wait, let me go get JESUS." And we overcome.
When SIN pulls on our heart to enjoy its temporary stain of dishonor , we say "O Lord Jesus. You live in Me. Praise YOU Lord."
And we overcome. I don't need to quote a single verse.
Victory is IN Jesus and Jesus is available.
Empowering is in Jesus and Jesus is available.
Overcoming is in Jesus and Jesus is available.
The essence of the Gospel is the AVALABILITY to everyone who believes - of Jesus Christ.
"the last Adam became a life giving Spirit" (1 Cor. 15:45)
Don't listen to Rajk999's foolish talk that because I emphasize coming to, contacting, communing with, and enjoying Jesus, even by employing the MOUTH, that that means I don't care about righteous living.
OK, one verse:
"Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision.
For we are the circumcision, the ones who serve by the Spirit of God and boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh." (Phil. 3:2,3)

Exactly WHERE in that passage does Jesus teach me NOT to use my mouth to call out to Him?
It does say "not everyone who says Lord, Lord ..."
Where does it say "DON'T CALL Lord, Lord to turn your whole being to God?"
Better yet where does it command not to even SAY "Lord, Lord" ?
Go beyond even that to Luke 6:46,47
"And why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not do the things that I say.
Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and does them, I will show you whom he is like. etc. "
Where in that verse does Jesus teach me NOT to call "O Lord Jesus. Lord! Lord Jesus!" ?
The New Testament teaches to CALL on the Lord and COME TO HIM. The warning of both Luke 6:46 and Matthew 7:21,23 is about saying Lord and STAYING AWAY from Him.
Am I advocating mouthing something and staying AWAY from Jesus Christ? No, I am teaching AS the New Testament teaches to CALL on Him with pure heart and even to be with those who call.
" But flee youthful lust and pursue righteousnessm faith, love, peace with those who CALL ON THE LORD out of a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:22)
I encourage fleeing by turning the heart to the Lord, calling on Him.
I encourage pursing FAITH, LOVE, PEACE ... by turning the whole heart toward Jesus and calling on Him.
" O Lord Jesus. I know my heart is not pure. But Lord Jesus YOU are pure. I call on You Lord Jesus. Lord YOU yourself be my purity before God. O Lord Jesus, Your word even says "that we might be the righteousness of God in Him". O Lord, I love You. Lord Lord thankyou for your precious redeeming blood. Thankyou Lord You are my consecration, You are my obedience. You Lord Jesus are my life.
By faith Lord, I take You as my everything. Lord You are everything I need. I totally lay my hands on You to identify with You. Lord Jesus YOU alone are absolute for the Father's will.
O Lord Jesus."
This is letting Christ make His home in our hearts by faith.
"That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith." (Eph. 3:17)
If you don't want to call "O Lord Jesus" do whatever you need to do to let Christ make His HOME more and more and more in your heart through faith. Good enough!

Concider the parable of the prodigal. In some ways it could be the parable of the older son.
When Jesus told the parable it was in the audience of the Pharisees. The older son being likened unto the Pharisees, who being outwardly faithful yet bitter a ...[text shortened]... es whom He loved too.
But alas I digress. This thread is about the mouth. I got a big one. 😉
A lot of us realized that we wanted to come home to God when we awoke in the pig pen.
A lot of us thought we needed to come back to God to work for God as a hired servant. Then we felt the Father fall upon our necks with love. We were dead but now made alive.
You have a poster here who is just like the older, bitter, resentful brother. He would not go into the celebration.
" I've been doing the right thing for so long and you never made a merry party over me. I won't have anything to do with this sickening celebration."
This is the attitude of the older religious brother.
This was the attitude of Cain who rose up to kill Abel.
His offering was rejected while his brother's was accepted.
God loved him and told him he TOO would do well.
So early in the Bible we see this conflict between religion and fellowship.
Christ is the fatted calf prepared for the prodigal's feasting.
Christ is also the ring around the prodigal's finger.
Christ is also the best robe covering his poor appearance.
What a parable.
I hope I never ever fall into the attitude of that elder brother.
"O Lord Jesus. Thankyou, i was DEAD. And now with You I am alive."
Why do people like Zombie movies so much?
Maybe because they feel they are themselves like walking DEAD people, in the midst of walking DEAD people.
