Yes, I hear you.

However we are discussing Agnosticism here, no?

If you read a bit more carefully you may find that Ghost is not exactly like twhitehead at all. But they both seemed to have kept an open mind to some degree, whereas I find that completely lacking in Christian fundies

You are wrong.

Their atheism is deep rooted, with no hope of evidence.

Atheist forever....is their motto.

Wrong about what?

Atheism has more evidence than theism- especially your style of "Christianity"

edit: " no hope ...". didn't you just accuse me of not knowing you? But a few posts later you've declared that these 2 posters have deep rooted atheism.
What about the laughing Buddha thread? Is that also deep rooted atheism?
I can't believe some of the things you post, and then claim things like your humble.

Your brain is evidence of creation.

Your stupidity is your own fault.

Keep praising yourself, and science. You are a FOOL.

One could say my brain is a result of evolution, with more evidence to back it.

(Are you yelling at me dude? Seriously how far do you think that tactic is going to get you? )

I never said that there was no design in the universe. I just don't see design and evolution as mutually exclusive.

As soon as I say "evolution" you jump to the "fool" ruling without really thinking about what is being said.

I think that we have a chance of understanding the matrix of our creation, evolution and all, and start co-creating the universe with the other enlightened beings that see unity conciousness and love as the prime motive for all endevours 🙂

i don't see it like that at all.
I am fairly sure Dive isn't going to lose any sleep over your imagined "victory" here, but hey, while you're making things up why not keep going ,eh ? 😛

https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/attributes.cfm

The question is, can the existence of hell be reconciled with the attributes of God? It's an ages old question and poses a dilemma for some Christians. It's an honest question, and there's an honest answer.

If you'll follow the link above you'll find a fairly thorough list of God's attributes and proof text to support them. It's a good place to start.

Concerning hell, C. S. Lewis once wrote, “There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity than this, if it lay in my power.”

I have said 'I don't know' a number of times recently in this forum, including to you directly. (Have you?!)

I've said I don't know how life began. (But this doesn't mean I have to accept your answer).

When I don't know something i say, 'I don't know.' - What is it about not having the answer that worries you so much Joe?

We go back to the child who doesn't know the answer to a sum and freely acknowledges he doesn't have the answer. This bodes well for him being open to the correct answer when it is explained to him. Unfortunately both Chaney and yourself are like the other child who also doesn't have the answer, but chooses instead to go with an answer that is completely illogical and then brags about this answer as being the truth, despite the lack of rational evidence.

Which, again, is why no answer is better than the wrong answer.
