When I experience the wonder of nature and the sense of love for my fellow humans I call it an internal experience. Some others experience pretty much the same thing but label it differently.
So for me, God is a label. I choose not to use this label but I have the same sort of experiences as others who do.

Your belief makes perfect sense to me, since in a way I think we all believe pretty much the same thing. Where we differ is in how we choose to describe and name those beliefs.
You've externalised yours to describe it as some sort of supernatural creator being. I've internalised mine to describe it as my inner strength and purpose.
