Is God 'Mercy, Pity, Peace and Love' as Blake wrote? Or do you have perhaps a different conception of God – do you picture a person you love or have loved and lost, or is your God even a violent God, or flawed in other ways?

He is the "I AM" which I take to mean He is everything that I require.
He is - absolutely. He is everything we need.
"I AM" in an absolute sense means He IS and we are not.
Only He is and is everything for us.
Everything positive He is the reality of.
Whatever I lack, in Christ, He IS.
The typology in the Old Testament has as its largest symbol of Jesus Christ "the Good Land" - it is the Promise Land.
The all-inclusive land with everything God's people could possibly need is Christ.

Hey, thought us non-believers (aka - Men of wisdom) were not allowed to post in this thread? 😲
I make my own rules and don't answer to The Man.
I'm a wild one.

Sir, do not send me a cheque for 12 hundred pounds.
Think again buddy. I wasn't born again yesterday.
You can, however, expect a new boiler to arrive any day now.
Insert that in your pipe and inhale it.
