Lol. First you are a lier about that and if we shunned people of other religions we would not be spending billions of hours a year going to their doors now would we?
Now again show me where I stated that we shun others because of their religion? If your not a lier then show me. If not that confirms you are a laying person.

Calling out FMF on this question.... Where are you?
Lol. First you are a lier about that and if we shunned people of other religions we would not be spending billions of hours a year going to their doors now would we?
It is no secret that JWs and the JW organisation use disfellowship and shunning, and the threat of both, to punish and ostracize individuals over religious matters.
Now again show me where I stated that we shun others because of their religion? If your not a lier then show me. If not that confirms you are a laying person.
You have talked at length on this forum, for example, about how you shunned your son for an extended period of time over religious matters pertaining to his behaviour.
So unless you are willing to condemn the way the JW organisation and its members shun people over religious matters, then there is no problem with what I have put to you, namely: when people shun you/your mother for religious reasons, it is bad. But when you shun people (e.g. your son, or ex-JWs) for religious reasons, it is good. This is clearly the essence of what you have been saying.
Originally posted by FMFYou said cleary that I shun ones of other religions. I asked for proof that I said that and you've produced none. You are a lier sir.

I think you ought to address what I have actually been saying to you - my words - rather than your different, reworded versions of what I have been saying.
Originally posted by galveston75Why don't you address what it is I have actually said to you about about people shunning and being shunned for "religious reasons" rather than attribute words to me that I did not use and then attack those words of your own invention?

To the Christians here a question: What would you be willing to give up in order to serve Jesus?
However if this is kind of a "trap" question, like, once I answer "everything," then you say, "Then why do you have a computer or any money? You obviously are not willing to give up everything..." etc... if it's THAT kind of question, my response is, Jesus has not required that I give up what little I have, and if He ever did explicitly require such, I would do so without hesitation.

Well then, the question remains unanswered: how can you be sure that Jesus did not approve of your mother being shunned by her family?
I think there is only 1 answer here, as far as from a believer's standpoint. I'd like to see if G75 agrees.
With regard to the shunning of G75's Mother by the family, I think we (believers) can be assured of one thing: Jesus did not will that it not happen - therefore, we can say that at least on some level, it met with His approval.

Originally posted by galveston75Actually I think you have been caught in a 'fork' to use a chess term; you defend shunning people from a JW doctrinal viewpoint and then come here crying about being "shunned" yourself and putting it out there as you having "given up" something for Jesus. The hypocrisy is chocking.

To be clear then, when people shun you for religious reasons, it is bad. But when you shun people for religious reasons, it is good. This is the essence of what you have been saying, right?
From what I can tell, this is the post you originally either misread or misinterpreted.
You responded as follows:
I've looked back at the postings here of mine and I can't seem to find where I said I shun anyone because of their religious beliefs. Could you plase show me where I said that?
It seems you took "religious REASONS" to mean "religious BELIEFS" which is not what FMF said. They do not mean the same thing.
FMF pointed this out to you, you ignored it, and then escalated things by calling him a liar. FMF kept trying to correct you and you persisted.
Like I said:
