@kellyjay saidI find it astonishing that here you are brazening it out, obviously realising that you’ve been mistaken and are now trying to make out that I’ve twisted the word of god , when in fact I’ve not posted any scripture, YOU have…and done so with intent to misuse it.
When you leave portions of scriptures out, you are creating something deceitful, twisting the truth. You only pointed out that you have no idea what scripture is; in Christ, we are free from the Law, but it wasn't done away with only fulfilled; the Word of God is the Law no different than anything else that Lord says. The points that each of those passages show us that God d ...[text shortened]... They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.
You would have lot more respect, from me at least, if you just owned your error instead of all this silly bluster.
@divegeester saidNo Christian wants or needs the respect of someone that claims to be a Christian while denying the inerrancy of scripture.

@josephw saidMy point being that there is NO scripture which supports the assertion and inferences you are making here.
No Christian wants or needs the respect of someone that claims to be a Christian while denying the inerrancy of scripture.
Despite all the hate and indignant bluster from yourself, you (nor anyone else) have not been able to provide ANY scriptural evidence that the entire bible is accurate, without error and should be taken as literal. It’s all man-made assertions and my challenging these assertions is a completely legitimate course of freethinking and enquiry.

@kellyjay saidYour continued attempts to polarise the argument into the binary [the bible is inerrant] vs [forget the bible altogether] do not detract from the huge middle ground examining:
When doctrine is by what we think over what the scriptures say, why bother with the scripture at all, it no longer matters to them.
1) is there evidence in scripture to support the assertion “the bible is inerrant, complete, all inspired?”
2) is all the bible equally important, equally literal and equally relevant.
These are not unreasonable questions KellyJay.

@divegeester saidIt doesn't matter if the Bible is complete because not all inspired books were found or even accepted; if what we have is the Word of God, it is just that. If there is more out there, and there are more books mentioned in scripture that we don't have, that doesn't detract from what is collected. If anything is left off and still out there, it will line up with what is here; since God is sovereign and not a God of confusion, I'm not overly concerned about what other books didn't make into the Bible through history, what we have, we have.

@kellyjay saidI’m already aware of your woolly thinking on this matter KellyJay.

@divegeester saidCouldn't you let God handle that?
So I’m wondering why you are misusing those scriptures KellyJay?
@divegeester saidI'm sure you [any number of things] and nobody cares about your respect.

I have this bad feeling you might somehow be doing Christianity the wrong way.
J/K -- It's clear that you are.
@divegeester
Let's put this on a personal, one-on-one level.
How many times did KellyJay try to hurt you, and how many times did you try to hurt KellyJay?
@kevin-eleven saidShut up you blithering pansy.

@divegeester saidIt is not surprising when you reject the Word and twist what is there to make it say what you want; nothing anyone else can say will be accepted by you either. Where you are in life, it seems is, you are your truth monitor; only what you think is true, it is true, only by agreeing with you can something be true. If reasoning is shared with you, it is 'woolly thinking, faith speech, gobbly gook or other such verbiage.

The scripture isn't a plumb line for righteousness for you; your imagination is.
