All you have to do to support your assertion that romans said that divegeester "is ashamed of Jesus Christ" is produce just one quote.
Otherwise I'll concider you simply being bombastic.
"I think dive is ashamed to believe Jesus was God in the flesh. I think dive is ashamed to believe Jesus was crucified for the sins of mankind.I think dive is ashamed to believe Jesus was Resurrected."
Interestingly (and I use the term very loosely) he immediately goes on to say, "I’m actually not convinced dive believes that, but if he does, I think he’s ashamed to."
So basically we have Romans saying he 'thinks' dive is ashamed, but that he is 'not convinced' that he is. In other words, Roman is admitting that he is not 'convinced' by the things that he 'thinks.' Which, of course, explains a lot.
From this logic we can extrapolate Romans 'thinks' God exists, but is 'not convinced' that is the case.
Originally posted by @tom-wolseyWho is "ashamed of belief" in Christ here among the Christians? And who among them is "Christ loathing"?
Being ashamed of belief is self-loathing. Being ashamed of Christ is Christ-loathing.

Being ashamed of belief is self-loathing. Being ashamed of Christ is Christ-loathing.

Are you ashamed of these words spoken by Jesus?

The poor fellow seems to think not getting replies equates to him having people on the ropes. Oh dear.
Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukeAh that was decided at the annual troll meeting? No wonder I wasn't invited. Let me guess who attended: Dive, FMF and Ghost. No surprise there.

You and your atheist pals and the atheists’ fanboy have repeatedly been trying to run me down without addressing me directly so naturally I’m responding.
But more to the point, is this post of yours a substantive post or a trolling post? Does it represent the advancement of a substantive discussion or spamming?
The thumbs told me so. They never lie

This is a moment for integrity and principle; either you stand by me or you stand by Romans1009, there is no middle ground.
So far only one Christian has had the balls to even choose. It's hilarious, but also a bit disheartening.

I see, you are also going to take the cowards way out and abstain.
Honestly, I have no idea why people ask me who is going to heaven or hell, as if anyone, including God, cares what I think about the matter.
Who cares what I think? You?
Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukeThis is useful analysis for any like me who are trying to understand this recent and hopefully temporary increase in vitriol on this forum. I too, looked back at Roman's posts and found one in the recent thread that has "Suzianne" in the title. On page 6, roman asks Dive "Are you that ashamed to be a believer? Or are you a phony?" That's arguably different from being ashamed of Christ, and it is a question. Or two, suggesting that these are the only alternative explanations.

Also, I wonder what it means to be ashamed of the things Dive is alleged to ...[text shortened]... is logic we can extrapolate Romans 'thinks' God exists, but is 'not convinced' that is the case.
I don't quite get why the discussion has become so heated, The only time I remember defending my faith, when I had it, was in a rather mild-mannered attempt to get my brother to believe in a personal god (a person.) We agreed that if God exists, he is a person. (a conscious being with a self-concept, thoughts, feelings, etc.)
But that is irrelevant. Dive, you ask if we are for you (Dive) or against you. If forced to make a choice I am more on your side, aside from the possible technicality about the exact phrasing of Roman"s statements about you. Edit: and what he meant by them.
