I am being repeatedly and persistently trolled by Romans1009 who is accusing me of being ashamed of Jesus Christ. Other than calling someone a Son of Satan this is probably one of the worst insults one Christian will say to another.
If you think I am ashamed of Christ please say so, if not then who will stand with me and refute this person's claims a ...[text shortened]... ent with Romans1009, I am not asking for ambivalence.
Who will stand with me one this matter?

I'm not sure what's worse, Romans saying you are ashamed of Jesus or when he and Becker delighted in bringing up and discussing your mother's tragic suicide and flippantly surmising it was the reason you were giving them a hard time and perhaps they should cut you a bit of slack.
Truly awful.

Is it me or is there a distinct stench of angry sweat developing in this thread.
Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukeWhat’s truly awful is your lying and lack of morality. You and dive are really getting desperate to go to these extremes.

Is your behavior in this thread reflective of someone who manages a team of mental health professionals as you claim you do?

Originally posted by @caissad4I've never heard this word before. What is its etymology? Where does it come from?
Back in the 70's some of us used the word (pronounced schtum) but spelled Xtum. For us it was when (in a group setting) someone would ask a question of the group and it was met with total silence.
This is maybe the most interesting part of this thread. The rest is just "same old, same old".
Originally posted by @divegeesterI think you are generally ashamed of the true teachings of Christ and that you are probably embarrassed of what the Bible says as a whole.

Of course, I am willing to walk back these statements, but the reason that I am willign to walk them back is only because you routinely hide up the depths of your own views on things. That is to say, you will assert just one simple point over & over & over again and you do not generally expand into the other, wide array of ideas that should go with that.
It's hard to get you to clarify your views.
I assume that, if it matches your general disposition, it is because they are really left & liberal and deny some of the more fundamental teachings within the Christian tradition. Thus, making your composite views more in conformity with the World than with Christ, which is, at the very minimum, embarrassment and shame toward Christ.
Now is probably a good time for you to be really vigorous in dismissing this and pulling out your Christ card.
Not just the liberal aspects of Christendom, though, but the full, unfiltered totality of it.
Do note that when I first got here, FMF engaged me with a lot of needling and did the classic <YourName> thread title tactics. However, the person that truly bothered me and trolled the Dickens out of me was actually Dive.
Dive is really just paying the price for his very persistent attacks on regular posters of the Forum, often targeting conservatives.
He really doesn't like the taste of his own medicine.
