@Ghost-of-a-Duke

I gave you the ingredients. Not the measurement or cooking instructions.

Did you look at them?
Not yet.

So the precise measurements for the actual "cooking" came about by "lucky accidents" ?

Unlucky accidents?
No accidents at all?
Purposely then?

NO still? Nobody's "purpose" ?
Nobody's plan, nobody's design?

Tell us how at last somehow the "cooking" instructions were in place and billions of years of lifelessness gave rise to life and that reproducing itself to survive.

You see, I believe even before there was any universe God had a plan. And FOR this plan He created everything needed.

"Even as He chose us in Him BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD to be holy and without blemish before Him in love, Predestinating us to sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself,

according to the good pleasure of His will, " (Eph. 1:4,5)

This means to me that BEFORE there were the eight or more ingredients, or water, soil, dirt, rocks, planets, stars, galaxies, or the entire universe God had a destiny marked out and a plan He took pleasure in. BASED upon this good pleasure, this plan, God THEN laid the foundation of the world - ie. created the whole material universe.

That's what the Bible says.

We'll talk after you've looked at the ingredients.

Night.

I want to know how the "cooking instructions" came about with no plan from nobody.

[That's no plan from anybody.]

The end of the Bible shows a marriage. It shows Christ as God-man and His Wife a collective entity called New Jerusalem
The formation of New Jerusalemas a climax of history mirrors the formation of the wife of Adam.
Yes I’m aware of the Bride in Revelation.

But your OP is talking specifically about “why Adam’s rib became eve”.

None of the stuff you mention talks to either of your claims; that your OP content is “hugely significant”, nor how it “gives meaning to human existence”.

My initial reply to your OP describes exactly and simply the significance and standing of Eve to the human race. Your reply to my reply to your OP tells me that I ruffled your feathers. And why? Because it’s all so simple and doesn’t need 35 posts of convoluted exegesis from yourself to understand it.

@divegeester

Your initial "reply" was

Jesus came out of the Godhead as the word
The ground came out of Jesus in creation
Adam came out of the ground of creation
Eve came out of Adam
Cain came out of Eve, as did the rest of mankind

Unless you explain these random like statements, I didn't get their real significance to this thread.

I think occupation with how I am feeling and checking to see if my
feathers are ruffled are a distraction.

The significant portion of mankind that becomes the Bride of Christ is foreshadowed in the formation of Eve out from Adam. The last two chapters of the Bible tells us that.

Revelation 21,22 tells this.
Ephesians 1 and 5 tells this.
Genesis 2:21-25 offers some symbolic window into this.

Look more into this and less with how I feel or whether or not you have ruffled my feathers.

On one level it may.
But not on every important level does it.

Sure, Eve was the mother of all living.

Paul's discussion of the first marriage between Adam and his wife go much deeper into the matter then the created human race. He is talking about the saved who become the Wife and counterpart of Christ presented without blemish or spot or any such thing to marry Christ for eternity.

I am speaking of this deeper significance, Ie. Ephesians 5.

You are the one who is speculating that there is a plan by somebody. You can't keep insisting that people who do NOT claim that there is a plan by somebody must provide a theory that there IS a plan by somebody to 'compete' with yours. Your conversational sophistry here is akin to a 'have you stopped bearing your wife' fallacy.

So my reply “may” describe a significance of Eve, but only on a basic level, is that it?

No am “important” level, the more important level “deeper significance” that you want to position yourself here as holding, right?

What is this deeper significance of Adam’s rib?

You don’t get the significance of this text to your OP or this thread... really?

A distraction from what? Here’s your reply to to my on topic first reply to your OP

”Why so wild?
Do you just want to throw dust up into the air?”

That is your very odd reply to my first comment:
”Jesus came out of the Godhead as the word
The ground came out of Jesus in creation
Adam came out of the ground of creation
Eve came out of Adam
Cain came out of Eve, as did the rest of mankind“

Agreed. It’s not complicated though is it?

The wonderful thing about these types in the bible is that they are so clearly and simply laid out for us to see.
