This appears to me why atheism is a religion. You harbour a belief or a non belief lets call it a value to avoid confusion and cannot substantiate it rationally and instead make excuses, the onus is not on me, a golden eagle swooped down and carried my dissertation off, my dog ate my homework etc etc Now i have no problem if you have an alter in your house with an image of Darwin surrounded by candles and at its base a copy of the God delusion, but this pussyfooting around with rhetorical arguments is not very convincing.
