There is no difference between the two parites Susan, except for maybe the abortion issue.

Incidentally, do you view abortion as murder? If so, you are just voting for Nazis.
You should know by now, I've only mentioned it numerous times, I"m not your 'typical' Christian as normally found on this forum. I do not consider an abortion, especially one performed before the fetus could be viable on its own, as murder. It is a choice, best left to the mother, concerning her own reproductive rights. NO ONE, especially any man, including government, has any right to be making this decision for her.

The Republicans, on the other hand, give much lip service to individual rights, and yet they are the ones who want to legislate what happens in my own body and whom I can or can't marry. That's crazy.

But the Democrats want to tell you who you can marry as well. If you are a polygamist, that's not acceptable. Pure hypocrisy, but then, that's what makes us all human I suppose.

There are other people who are not "typical Christians", like Nancy Pelosi. She could care less what her church says about abortion because her lord and master is the DNC. It is SCOTUS and DNC who will decide if a child is human at 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks, or only till it is born. Hell, one day they may just decide that it's not human until it walks and is able to forage for food on its own.

Well, the problem with this in America is that we have an entire political party who has most of the 'stuff', and they never cease trying to make damned sure that they keep it, and make more off the backs of the rest of us, and have even convinced an appreciable number of 'the rest of us' to be their minions, and continue this work in their name.
It isn't just a pollitical party, nor just America. The attitude of many, greed, power. It is a world wide problem.

I just want to point out that to make the fetus, it takes two. So those responsible for the making of it should be the ones responsible for its life as well. Just because a woman caries the fetus doesn't make it hers alone.

Wrong!!

It's the Tea Party. That's what is wrong with the world. I think it's in Proverbs somewhere in Suziannes Bible.

The irony here is, abortion is all about greed and convenience.

Unless, of course, you're the one making the decision, eh?

I'm sorry, but this is almost never the case.

A man who doesn't give a damn whether a new life is created or not, and doesn't have the self-control to make sure it doesn't if he's not in a position to be responsible for it, is not too likely to want ANYthing to do with it. Sad, but true. All too often, just because a woman carries the fetus DOES make it hers (and her responsibility) alone.

The true irony here is that your statement is utterly simplistic and condescending.

The problem with my comment is that it is based upon fact. Statistically, the average woman has an abortion based upon economic concerns.

The issue is about when life begins. SCOTUS made no such determination saying that it was beyond their knowledge base, so they let them kill them anyway.

So when do you say life begins Suzianne? Are you more knowledgable than SCOTUS?
