Would you worship a creator being [whose existence was not disputed] out of gratitude and as a way of pleading for divine recognition of your penance for your morally unsound actions [as defined by the moral compass installed in you by that creator being] if there was no 'reward' in the form of life after death?

But to answer your question, the answer is yes assuming the creator you're talking about is the one described in the Bible.

Even if there was no gift of everlasting life, the creator, as described in scripture, would still be worthy of worship.

Obviously, the creator being mentioned in the OP is not the one in the Bible.

Assuming the creator being I am talking about is not as described in the Bible, what would be your answer to the OP question?

So with the creator "described in scripture" ~ by which, presumably, you mean your Abrahamic God-related scripture ~ how would that work if the life after death element were removed [as per the OP]? Would it be a case of following the commandments and avoiding "sin" until your life ended?

So you are trying to tack some kind of life after death onto my OP?

Isn't that a completely different thought exercise?

Or are you suggesting that the OP's creator being allows everyone to die and cease to exist ~ there being no reward of afterlife ~ except those who do NOT worship the creator out of gratitude and as a way of showing penance?

You would "obviously" not worship a creator being for creating you? Are you sure?

That's what worship is. Living a life that pleases one's creator.

"...in the form of life after death".

Aren't those your words from the OP?

My words from the OP were "no 'reward' in the form of life after death?"

Can you be clear about what your answer is to the OP if it involves death being the end?

No, nothing is being garbled at my end.

Q: Assuming the creator being I am talking about is not as described in the Bible, what would be your answer to the OP question?

Your answer: Obviously, no.

Q: You would "obviously" not worship a creator being for creating you? Are you sure?

Your response was then a deflection ["Man did you garble this thread up in a hurry].
