Originally posted by PalynkaI thought Inter came for the draw, maybe try to catch us on the break if we overcommitted going forward. The red card meant that they became even more defensive and very difficult to break down.
Yes, we're in a dangerours position.
You guys did very well. Want to comment on the game?
Lots of chances went begging before we scored. More quality is definitely required up front next season. But, eventually, the goals were scored and we head to Milan in an excellent position to progress. I just hope Rafa isn't too defensive. They'll be hard to break down, but a goal away and it should be all over. If we sit back and defend they could quite easily get 2 goals.

By your own words: one.
"I see Schalke scoring home and away. I predict 3-1 on aggregate to the Germans. "
That would be 3 predictions. I didn't think you could get any more boring, but your last couple of posts in this thread have proved me wrong.

If that is supposed to count, then I'm a prediction genius.
I predicted that Schalke would score. I predicted that it would be due serious defensive mistakes. I predicted about Kuranyi, I predicted about our midfield, and so on.
Hell, I don't know why I don't just predict the numbers of the lottery. Let me tell you, each digit will be a number between 0 and 9. Mark my words.
Ignoring the inaccurate pedant, tonight I see a very tough game for United. I see Benzema being a constant danger for United, possibly winning the free kick from which Juninho will score.
If United start with Tevez on the bench and Rooney up top, I see us scoring 2 tonight. Possibly enough to win, but more likely enough to draw. Then we should have more than enough at OT.
Celtic could get a shock result tonight at home, but I don't see them having enough to win the tie.
Arse v Milan is impossible to call. If things go against Arsenal, will they lose self control and self destruct as normal? Can Gallas and Toure regain their confidence after the mauling at the weekend by Rooney? Will Milan raise their game for the occasion?

Edit -
"possibly Lyon will score"
"we score 1, possibly 2"
"maybe enough for a win, if not a draw"
No wonder you "predict" so well.

Maybe Lyon will score: They got a world class goal.
Maybe enough for a win, if not a draw: Well they got the draw.
United score 1, possibly 2.
Well Manchester United Scored 1, had many chances to score a 2nd.
Sounds like a very accurate prediction to me........
The only thing he got wrong is that I told him Tevez should start.
Tevez should start all big games for United.

Hey numpty, my point was that he didn't leave much possibilities out.
