Of course he's not always right, but he's generally on the money. I still think they (Ducks) would be toast against TCU. Merely an opinion we can disagree about. neither of us is convincing the other. Further argument pointless. One parting last shot. The Ducks averaged something like 30+ ppg on offense. Being held to 8 points sounds like destruction to me!
The other two losses? Which other loss besides Stanford are you referring to?
Oregon was their own enemy on Sept 9. The proof is in the fact that since that first game with a new coaching staff that they have not put in a performance that remotely resembled the one against Boise St. Boise St.'s marshmallows are irrelevant to that discussion but perhaps I ...[text shortened]... ut if it makes you feel good to take linguistic liberties then you go on with your bad self.

The USC team that destroyed OU was loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. Look at that team and see how many of them are playing on Sunday. OU could have easily won that game last year. That OU team wasn't as good as the OU team that SC defeated.

How's that? Do you mean through Arizona?
I thought you were talking about the Ducks all the way. Now the post makes little sense, does it?
Onto other things. Do you like Kelly leaving Cinci befor the Sugar Bowl and going to ND? So Stoops was right all along. BTW, I like Stoops and have rooted for OU in the three recent NCG appearances despite only winning on the first try.
Well it looks as if Brian Kelly, the coach for Cincinnati, will be going to ND. In fact, I hear he won't be there for the bowl game against Florida.
I have to say, I think the NCAA should pass some sort of rule stating that coaches are not allowed to leave their team for another until the season is finished. That just bites.

The season has finished. Now we are just playing bowl games. Bowl games aren't play-offs, they are a unique aspect of college football. The Bowl games really mean nothing.
I agree with whodey (for once); this type of behavior shouldn't be allowed. It's a disgraceful abdication of a coach's responsibilities.
Originally posted by no1marauderIt is especially egregious after denying to the kids that he was leaving! Indeed these games mean a lot to the players, the fans, the schools. Now this treacherous bastard leaves them all in the lurch. Players have to sit out a year before playing after a transfer. I am not suggesting coaches do the same but need to wait until after the bowl season. I am no longer a ND fan after this!

Originally posted by no1marauderIts like saying the Super Bowl means nothing or the World Series mean nothing. You play the regular season in the hopes of playing in these types of games.
