I wouldn't sell out several teams yet.
Stanford, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Oregon to mention a few who should be in the
mix at the end.
As for the Big 12, sorry, they just don't belong on the same field with the best SEC teams. In fact, who does?

Voters will take a 10-1 team who lost the first game over a 10-1 team who lost their
last game.
Plus, Oregon has been quietly beating the hell out of their competition.
It could happen.

Here's hoping that OSU wins out and wins the MNC! Wouldn't that be a hoot?
I've got to say, the organge uniforms nauseate me. In addition, they belong to the lowly Small 12 with no track history of winning big games.
Other than that I have no problem with your statement. 😛
Originally posted by shortcircuitI can't see it. Losing badly to one of the SEC powers looks like a killer to me; if LSU wins out, nobody wants a rematch, if Alabama does Oregon looks overmatched in comparison. All the other contenders would have to lose, some perhaps twice before Oregon would get the shot.

The pollsters and you don't always see eye to eye.
And, I am not saying it will happen, just that it "could" happen.

Originally posted by no1marauderExactly. Oklahoma State still has another team from Oklahoma on their schedule too.
Oklahoma State will have to lose. And Stanford will have their hands full with Oregon.
And, if Oregon beats Stanford, and won out, it could be interesting.
I heard Craig James tonight making a case for LSU-Alabama still being 1-2 after the
game, even with the possibility of an undefeated Stanford and Boise State and Oklahoma State.
He basically laughed off Boise State. He said the LSU-Alabama game would have to be
a close, well played game, but he thought that was possible.
