This one might qualify as well, just for this play alone.

Georgia backed out of a commitment to play Oregon in Autzen next year. For that reason alone I hope that Boise St. spanks them and shows this to be the marquee game that it is not.

Well it looks like my Buckeyes will open tomorrow against Akron and will beat them even though it seems that over half the team suspended. 😛

Being a Buckeye fan it is pretty painful knowing that you would have been #1 had it not been for idiot TP wanting a Tattoo worse than a Rose Bowl trophy. The three recent players suspended were suspended for trying to raise money for a charity. While there they were given free meals and a round of golf. If you ask me this is insane. The guys were frigg'in trying to raise money for charity!!!!

Meanwhile, the Miami players were getting prostitutes and living high on the hog and get the same one game suspension.

If you ask me, the NCAA can #@@@ itself.

Did you get the name of that charity Hoss???

That seems like a great story. But it is a load of crap.
You see, if they were trying to raise money for charity,
the correct way would be to "give" the items away for "free" to the charity.
Then allow the charity to sell the items, and your players wouldn't be guilty.
The charity they were raising money for was themselves, and they got caught.

The Ducks made a valiant effort to comeback at the end, but miscues and facing a faster D did them in. Boise State looked great against the Bulldogs.

Poor Irish, had to wait an eternity through storm delays, but South Fla put a hurting on them!!

Yep they received "gift bags" for attending a charity event that totaled less than $300. In the interim, the Miami players were getting prostitutes and what not, however, both received the same one day game suspension.

Give me a friggin break.

Which SEC team will it be this year to win it all? Will it be Florida, LSU, Alabama? The suspense is killing Whodey. It's like trying to determine if the Red Sox or the Yankees will go to the World Series this year.

As for the Irish, their mass following is somewhat of a puzzle to me. It's akin to the devotion seen from Browns fans or Cubs fans. Then again, the Irish have had much more success than either of those teams, so perhaps the devotion is not that misplaced.

The Tiger D wasn't a huge issue. You can't spot the opponent 24 points and expect to win a football game.

Ummm.. wasn't that how Oregon won so much last year? weren't they down in the first half against many teams, then came back?

I think these youngsters and coaching staff there are used to spotting teams lots of points. It's all about offense, I thought.

It doesn't matter. They played one of the best teams in the country and stood tough. They should do very well in the Pac (it up) 10! 😀

Hey bud, what's the line on the BYU/UT game Saturday? I watched part of the game when they played Ole Miss, and they have some really good corners..
