This game is set to be a great one. Manning......who has been off this postseason with his great offense, but on the other side the bears have the number one defense that stopped the great Saints offense and demolished them in the second half. But then the colts have the two ends, freeney and mathis who can blitze grossman and when he's in trouble he struggles. But the bears don't have to throw it, they can run on one of the worst rush defenses in NFL history, which is what they did against the saints. Plus the bears have the underdog feeling, since most are taking the colts. I give it to the Bears who everyone has doubted this whole season and they've been proving their critics wrong. Bears by 10

Your pathetic ignorance of sports history is sad. Might want to check the late 50's and the 60's to see the best dynasty in the NBA. And winning one Super Bowl ain't a "dynasty".
EDIT: You remind me of the SNL Bears' Guys except they were funny; you're just sad.
Talking about 50's and 60's, mostly everyone sucked back then, except for people like Bob Cousy who is like my favorite legend back then, from the way he added style to passing. Jerry West, Bob Love, Jerry Sloan, and a few others, along with the great Julius Erving. But in the 50's they were mostly 10 tall. dorky, clumsy whites guys with extremely gay shorts on the court who sucked ass.
Lol, my ignorance. My little brother knows more about basketball than you. And if you read my post, you would've seen that I never said the 2007 Bears were a dynasty you moron. Just like I didn't say the White Sox were a dynasty. They still won, and that's the point.
You must enjoy looking like a retard in debates against me don't you?
I JUST started watching football last year, so you won't see me arguing with a football vet. But I will RAPE you, in any basketball discussion.
Period.

Here's the greatest dynasty in NBA history, jerkwad: 11 championships in 13 years including 8 years in a row. http://www.nba.com/celtics/history/ChampionshipWins.html

This game rests on the Colts defense. If Freeney can get to Grossman, it's a Colts win.

If Freeny can get anywhere in the neighborhood of Grossman, it's a Colts win. "Train" Rex is not well known for his poise in the pocket.

just for the record i am from indiana and will return there feb 24 when i get out of the marines. i am definately colts bias, but i do find it ironic that all the baltimore fans are griping. didnt we just gut it out with them on their home field? i think this will finally be the colts year! i dont think that chicago has the offensive prowess to hang with indy. the bears defense has struggled as of late and manning is due for a huge game. what better time than feb 4th when he can finally put all the friggin comparisons to marino behind him.
Originally posted by usmc7257Chicago may not have the offensive power of Indy but you have to remember, Chicago did just dismantle the #1 offense in the league, so I expect Manning to dink and dunk his passes rather than go vertical.

And thats if the O-line holds up, which didn't look too great against B-More or New England.

The 1985 bears were unstoppable. So either way you put it, they'd rape any of todays teams.
I'm 11? HA!
I'm an 18 year old black male. I'm not the retarded noobish little whiteboys you probably come across on some other forums who talk like this
"OMG R3x Gr0sSm@n sUxXors!!1!!1one!!1!eleven!!1!!"
My right a$$ cheek knows more about 60's basketball than you foo'
And to show you how retarded you are
1. You probably just googled it, or either know it already, cuz it's pretty common knowledge about Celtic, lakers, and Bulls winning the most championships over every other team.
2. You do realize most of those championships were in the 60's? When there was NO other competition, and Bill Russel SINGLE HANDEDLY, took the celtics against every opposing team that sucked A$$. Then larry Bird basically did it all over again, until the 80's when the Bulls proceeds to rape them. And this was when the Bulls SUCKED. Jordan was a rookie/sophomore, they had no Luke Longly, No Scottie Pippen, No Steve Kerr, No Tony Kukoc, etc, etc.
Maybe if you were smart you'd have noticed that the Celtics haven't one a Championship past Detroit's Golden 80's era with isiah thomas, after Jordan came, after Lakers and Magic started whooping them, etc.
3. If you weren't the no1moron, you'd know that the 1996 Bulls have the most victories in a season in HISTORY, over ANY team, and ANY Dynasty, and ANY Finals contender, in ANY year, EVER.
And this was with COMPETITION. In the 60's there was no Charles Barkley, No david Robinson, No Michael Jordan, No Dominique Wilkins, etc.
The only truly great player back then was Julius Erving who is arguably the greatest player of all time, but except for like one season, his team sucked.
Lastly, if your brain was consistently working, you'd realize The Lakers have more championships than The Celtics, as well as Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul Jabaar, and Magic Johnson, not to mention the third dynasty of Kobe and Shaq, were all better teams than the basically unopposed and one man team(Bird), that was the Celtics.
I bet you are tired of being retarded aren't you?

---I could not agree more.
Originally posted by HypaGood point about Manning vs. "Train" Rex, although we probably interpret it differently. You see Manning overhyped and Grossman underappreciated. I see that they are both due.
Oh and to be on topic. Yes The Bears should most likely dismantle the Colts.
If they could dismantle the NUMBER ONE offense, then Colts shouldn't be any harder.
I'd also like to point out that rex's playoff stats are 2 TD, and 1 Interception, where as Manning has 2 TD, and 6 Interceptions
Anyway can we get this game over with already? There's a lot of humble pie to be served either way.
Originally posted by telerionOne of Rex's TD's in the Saints game was really a Hail Mary. I'm sure we all know which pass that was.
