i watched Sri Lanka destroy England by ten wickets, 230 without loss, they were awesome, with the exceptions of some dropped catches. As for your 515 skeety, i cannot acquiesce, for I have many persons with whom i like to engage with for discussion, plus i will soon be subbed up and joining tournaments to claim you anyway! It therfore holds no lus ...[text shortened]... e for me. New Zealand wont touch Sri Lanka, and your hasty words will make you sowwy!

I call bull poo. He is no 1800 player! His opponents avarage is sub 1400.
Originally posted by CrowleyYes they dropped a few catches, its true, but as far as i am aware, they have conceded less boundaries than any team in this world cup series. Murli looked as though he picked up an injury, but dismiss him at your peril. The two opening batsmen made the England attack look inept. Sri Lanka will take New Zealand. Cannot wait for Pakistan , India, it will be awesomeness itself!

Originally posted by CrowleyAgreed. But they have picked their pet 'pitch' and the blackcaps will need to win the toss, bat first to take advantage of a slow track under lights and to negate the experience Sri Lanka has already on this strip.

Originally posted by Crowleyyes indeed, never the less, England were at times quite unlucky, some of the balls carried through while almost shaving the wicket. Sri Lanka are just a great team, their bowling attack is varied and dynamic, and unless New Zealand make 270-300 they will be toast!
Apart from Swann, my school side could do that.
Originally posted by robbie carrobieDon't get me wrong, NZ do not have the necessary firepower to take out Sri Lanka.

Sorry to any Sri Lankans reading this, Muralitharan is also a great player, as are Malinga and Dilshan, but Sehwag and Tendulkar...
awesome game, 168 for 1 it looked all over, NZ showed great fighting spirit, Sri Lankan middle order looked rusty!

Afridi is an awesome captain, really up for it, tis a shame the sons of the soil could not produce a win. India, meh, Tandulkar, meh, Sehwag, meh, i think Sri Lanka will win, they have more variety and skill.
