When the Cubs win the world series, I want one of the players to run with the ball to the Bartman Seat where he gives it to the fan sitting there, and the fan stands up, rips off his fake mustache and beard, and it is Bartman himself! Vindication for everyone!

Alright playoff time!!!! Im not happy the brewers made it but if we have to we can knock them off in the nlcs hopefully. I like our rotation and the bullpen just hopefully the offense holds up
I'm sick of Ted Lilly, though. He's ridiculous for a #4 starter. 😛
Originally posted by atlanteanLilly is their stopper in the bullpen if they need him, that's why he'd go in game 4. Harden gets the start cause his ERA is under 2 with the Cubs. Zambrano is their ace, and Dempster is the feel-good pick. Everything is in the Cubs' favor to smash the Dodgers.
Lilly has kicked it up since April. I love Zambrano but i think Ted should be pitching game 2 and carlos game 3 with harden games 4

be 3rd just for the change of hard right hand throwers to the south
paw. They do have an oustanding pitching staff starters and relievers
no doubt about that.
It is tough just thinking something is bound to go wrong after so
many disappointments.

Speaking of smashing....would 3 HR's by the Dodgers qualify as smashing?

I couldn't be happier, to be honest. The Dodgers were the name of my little league team. I still have the hat, somewhere. 🙂

I see you like the Brew-crew.. they have some hope after tonight.
Originally posted by SmookiePHow crazy?...? You mean about them getting swept? Well, it was surprising, but not really at the same time. The Cubs are the Cubs. This is what happens to them. I'm pleased. Even if the Crew don't make it, I'm happy with either the Phillies or Dodgers making it. Both would be interesting. Dodgers have the momentum, Phillies have the talent. We'll see.

Can you imagine a Dodgers/Phillies/Rays world series? That would be great!
Suppan should be fun watch, one way or another. 😉
