My preference ordering over the remaining candidates for SB champ are as follows:
1) Saints
2) Colts
3) Bears
4) Patriots (sorry Phlabby)
IF the Colts win the AFC Championship but then lose, they get a consolation prize as World Saviors by stopping the Patriots.
Where are you Rams? You could've stopped this!!
BTW phlabibit I lost a whole lot - could've bought a pack of M&Ms
I'd be crazy to go "all in" on a toss-up. More of an argument vs a Pats fan that got that out.

But I want the Saints to win because they have no Title and the other 3 teams do.
There is a local guy #43 for the Colts that goes to my Church though, so if they win I could see what a Super Bowl ring looks like up close.

I see it as a little bit of an upset, but i wouldn't be all that suprised
Some of the local radio guys are saying the Pats beat a 'better team'.
I don't buy it, I expect them to be better... and win. They did as much.
They were better.

Crazy game. I'm hoping it will be the Pats and the Bears.
I saw the game again this year. Different outcome. Still not pretty.
Why would anyone want to see the Bears-Pats play a third time?
Rubber match?
Look. It's simple. You gotta pull for the Saints unless one of your teams is still in the mix. If the Saints lose to the Bears this weekend, then you should get behind the Colts (assuming they're still in it) and pull for Manning to get the ring. If both the Colts and the Saints go down, then root for the Bears. It's been a long time for them. It's fun to see an old school team win a championship, even if "Train" Rex is on the team. But never . . . ever cheer for the Patriots. That's like pulling for the Yankees.

I want to see the Saints and the Pats in the big game because I feel these two teams match up the best of all the combinations. Sean Payton is the only coach who is not afraid to be creative against Bill Belichick and he really would have nothing to lose throwing the entire playbook at the Pats. Payton is also a product of Bill Parcells (just like Belichick) so creative defence will be key and would be fun to watch.
If the Saints play the Colts and the Colts win I think alot of people will have some ill-will towards Manning for beating the Saints on their miracle year. That would be real irony for Manning to finally win one only to be given the evil eye for beating the Saints. If the Pats win then everyone will still be sick of the Pats so nothing will change.
The Bears ... well the Bears are boring really - who cares except Bears fans? They are a great team but if the Pats and Bears play they might as well bury the game on cable somewhere 'cause nobody will care enough to watch in big numbers.
Colts and Bears? The Colts should walk away with that one and it will be a blow-out in favor of the Colts by the middle of the 3rd quarter.
The Bears just don't match up to either AFC team that well. They could have more success against the Pats but they are inexperienced and Rex is just not at the point to lead a team to a Super Bowl win. Sure, the Steelers got by last year with a horrible performance by Big Ben but that won't happen to Manning or Brady unless they get hurt and a second string has to come in.
Now I'll be honest, I'm a Pats fan (a real one - I grew up in New England) so I am biased - especially against the Colts - but I just think a Saints/Pats game would be alot of fun to watch and I'd be happy if the Saints won too because they are a great Team (the capital T is on purpose). In fact I think the Saints are the only NFC team that could beat the Pats in the big game. I'll root for the Pats but part of me wants to see the Saints win to - they are just such a great story.
The absolute worst Superbowl combination - Bears and Patriots. For one thing, it's one sided to say the least. And if the Patriots win, they'd be elite and their fans would be loud and obnoxious, sorta like the OSU Buckeye fans (of course, they're hushed.)
Saints and Colts.
Anyways, go Saints, no matter. Like to see them get a title.

GO PATS!
