Roma deserve that. Arrogant b@stards.
I said the league outclassed the EPL, not sides (as has been shown by Man U).

I think he has been suggesting that Serie A and La Liga are better due to the more competitive nature of the leagues.....not just saying the standard is better.....
This is probably true for Spain at the moment....much closer competition between the top few teams that EPL has had for a long while.....
Originally posted by ElleEffSeeeI never said the sides were better either. All I am trying to say is that the calibre of competition between clubs is better than the EPL. I never said that the Italian/Spanish teams are better, i never said that the English teams are better. I am saying as a whole, the calibre and competitiveness is better.
Why are you getting angry? I think we're all a little confused how the EPL can be of a lesser standard than Serie A, when you say it's sides (i.e. team for team) are better than the Italians. Can you explain more?

As I posted earlier, the difference between 1st and 4th in points at the end of the season in the EPL was:
12,16,16,30,34,24,22 (current)
In Serie A these differences were:
19,16,12,23,23,22,32 (current)
Considering Serie A plays 4 less games than the EPL, these values definitely do not show any significant difference in competitiveness.
As for calibre,
UEFA cups per country:
England clubs 10
Italy clubs 10
Champion's League/European Cups:
England clubs 10
Italy clubs 10
Where's the difference?

EDIT: Going back 15 years (champions league. Am working on the UEFA cup).
