Who are Getafe, a local club team?
Lets see Messi in the Champoins League be part of the destruction of Roma 7-1,
Or score 2 goals against AC Milan, a team that has only conceded one away goal all competition.
Messi can do his tricks and dribbles against kids, but when is he going to produce in the big games like Rooney and turn the decliniging Barcelona into a decent team again.
Where was Messi against Liverpool in the CL 2007, what a let down?
I could score a goal like Maradona against Getafe.

2,5 years later, and Messi is World Champion and best player today! Candidate to be genius!
Some questions:
1) is it true Messi was a kid in Newell´s Old Boys when the team didn´t cost his treatment (Barcelona did it)?
2) is it true Argentina convocated him at 16 to don´t permit his naturalisation as Spanish?
3) is Messi to be able to conduct Argentina alone in the next World Cup?

In form, I'd say that Ibrahimovic's goal is probably the best I've ever seen. Maradona's goal, however, it's still the one I'd name as (probably) the best. Not only it's at least as brilliant as Messi's, it's also scored in a World Cup semi-final.
Edit: That we're even discussing this is a testament of how good Messi's goal is...
to do it in the QF of the world cup finals against a very good team - it has to go down as an all time great
Also as others have pointed out- he scored two or three other fantastic goals during this tournament- that dont get mentioned a lot.
