Originally posted by MoneyManMikeI don't know about the durations, but I agree with all the picks. OKC looks very diminished without Westbrook and the Grizzlies have an excellent chance for an upset. If Derrick Rose was playing, I'd pick the Bulls to beat the Heat but he's not walking through the door (and even if by some miracle he does the rust will just be too much).
Round 2 Predictions
Eastern Conference
Miami over Chicago in 6
New York over Indiana in 7
Western Conference
Memphis over OKC in 6
San Antonio over Golden State in 5
Interestingly ESPN forecast is in almost total agreement with your picks except taking the Heat in 5.http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/ESPN-Forecast-Playoffs-130505/forecasting-conference-semifinals

Poor start to yours too!
the Knicks are just not playing well right now. They have some nagging injuries and that they never got Amare back into it is going to cost them. Of the 7 games so far, the Knicks have been less than impressive in 5 of them.
I also think that Miami will lose 2 or fewer games before the finals.
Originally posted by no1marauderI forgot all about this thread. Well, at the risk of being outed as lame by no1defrauder, I will still make my picks. Every series is at 1-1 and the Heat are only up by 2 at the moment.
Poor start for our prognostications. Too bad Zambonehead didn't get his licks in.
Heat in 7
Knicks in 7
Warriors in 7
Grizzlies in 6

Heat over whoever in the East.
Heat over NY/Ind

I am rooting for Griz and NY/Ind. The good news for Heat haters is that the Griz, Pacers, and Spurs all have the personnel to play tough defense against the Heat.
