Win all your games - win the cup.
What's your problem with that?
We'll it's the 6th "Match Day" here, but NZ has to wait for the rest of the world to catch up. I'm getting excited and really nervous.
I'm hoping the ABS will steam roll the French pack as they have in 4 out of 5 of their last encounters. The French backs are a rag tag mix with no answers to the power of NZ. Moving the match to Wales can only help the ABs but the French still have a cocky confidence that the ABs lack. We are told they appear to be pinned their hopes on a kicking game. (grubbers bombs and line kicks) I wonder if they realise the abs are playing Leon MacDonald and Mils Mulialana probably two of the smartest turning defensive full backs in the game... My biggest worry is the lack of combination that this constant player rotation brings... It is trial time not just for the NZ players but for coach Graham Henry and his total package of the thirty man team.
England Aussie is going to be fabulous.. possibly the best game of the qfs. This is going to be close and Mike Catt's experience in the thick may holf them together under pressure. England will rise to the occasion having improved with every game so far.. they could cause an upset..far more likely than the French v NZ.
Tomorrows games seem so irrelevant.. SA will make the final with a easy road where as the others aren't in the same division.
Good luck to all and hope the refs get things right and let things flow!!!!

England/Aus fabulous? Nah, Aus will walk away with it. As for Catt, pfft. The only thing he's got going for him is experience. He's 36 for heaven's sake and I reckon he's going to be shown up badly. God's gift to rugby won't be able to talk his way out it this time. The England barrel must be very empty indeed. The England backs are cumbersome, lacking in flair while the forwards are a bunch of journeymen, lacking even in cohesion. Certain individuals will work very hard indeed, but they're not a team.
The match of the weekend definitely must be France/NZ.
i'm in shock
one of those games where you thought, ok aussies are going to score now, nope - now? eh? now? muh next time.......NOW??!! wtf this time?

now can a team with mike cat win a 1/4 of a world cup? it makes no sense.
did i dream that match? is this the start of the end of the world?
you think i'm over reacting? hahahahaha

England were all over the Aussies in the 1st half. England should have gone in at half time at least 2 scores ahead. It was about even in the second so Australia lost.
A shame Wilkinson had a bit of a shocker.

once again the team that scores a try loses to penalty kicks.
Time for the IRB to review this before the next world cup
Originally posted by Squelchbelchthey weren't 'all over the aussies in the first half' but they did have more chances and where totally dominant in the scrum.

england never really looked like scoring a try, the aussies did and did. too bad mortlock had a shocker with the boot.
wilko didn't have a shocker, when tuqiri did one of the little kicks over someone and runs who was their to intercept it? who was the last man when the aussies scored their try? who scored all of englands points?
if thats a shocker why couldn't ronan o'gara have a few 'shockers' this world cup?
